Chapter 17: Thanks...?

You sighed and rubbed your temples, "Ugh...I wanted it to be a surprise Hanji...and you ruined it."

Levi just had happened to be walking by, and he overheard your conversation...and kicked Hanji down. "Stupid four eyes! I knew we shouldn't have told you!" He yelled, glaring down at her.

"Heh...sorry..." She adjusted her glasses nervously before sprinting off, not wishing to be hunted down by Levi.

Levi sighed and rubbed his temples. "Stupid..." He looked to you and gave you a small but charming smile. "I was wondering if you wanted to go out on a date tonight?"

You nodded and smiled wide, holding his hands in yours. "I'm super excited, thank you. Can you tell me where we're going this time?!" You asked hopefully.

He gave you a devilish grin and shook his head. "Mmm....no." He chuckled and sighed. "Well I have to go babe...I'll see you tonight. There's some brats I have to teach, new trainees."

You nodded as he gave you a peck on the lips, and he walked off, leaving you with a blush on your face.

While waiting for Levi, you couldn't help but feel excited and nervous. "What to wear what to wear..." You ended up going with your gut, which was (y/f/c) dress and (y/f/c) shoes.

A couple hours later, Levi knocked on your door, which you quickly opened and greeted him with a smile. He was wearing a tux, his hair was combed back, and he had a rose in hand.

"For you my love." He handed you the rose and you took it with a smile. "Ready to head out?"

"Ready as I'll ever be."

He took your hand, and even though the two of you got a lot of looks, Levi glared them down...

And if boys were flirting with you...he was very overprotective...so he made sure they left or he'd kill them. Literally.

After a couple minutes of walking later, the two of you showed up in front of a fancy, expensive restaurant. "Ready?" Levi asked with a charming smile.

You nodded and hand in hand...you walked into the restaurant.
