The Wolf's Den

Path 1: Adrieve, Chapter 3: Part 1

        Disappointed in how rude the siblings had been, Adrieve stormed into her new surroundings, which, after prodding her way into a large crowd, a prince was dancing with a woman he refused to let anyone else dance with her. With a huff, and noticing she wasn't dressed properly for a gala, she snuck away, out the main door, and found herself in the hallway from earlier. However, the doors had moved, and now, as she stood in the darkness, sharp nails were heard nearby her on the walls. It was a familiar pair of feet, but from where did it seem so familiar?

        "Good evening, Miss Adrieve."

        "Mr. Wolfe, I was hoping it was you."

        "Oh were you?"

         "I was thinking... That, well, I was hoping, I should say, that you would help me take care of something."

         "And what might that be?"

         "I would like to go to the ball and ruin someone's life."

        After a pause, a light shined in the hallway, a flashlight, by the look of it, and walked forward. The hallway, when lit, was bright, walls white and doors whitewashed from age. Placing a doorknob on the outside of the door at the beginning of the hallway, he opened it, gesturing for her to enter before him, to which she did. Following her in, doorknob back where it came from on his person, Mr. Wolfe shut the door firmly as he entered.

        "Now, you need a proper dress, do you not?"

        "I would say, something... That stands out, something not quite revealing but bright in color."

       "Red, I would say, as black tends to mean mourning. Just what are you trying to ruin, my dear?"

       "Cinderella's connection to her prince, but I need to be at the beginning, and if I'm lucky, the other two I came here with. I'm unable to leave as of yet, I suspect I need them with me when I leave."

        "Then I suppose we should begin, should we not? A red dress, some nice shoes to match, and a fashion-friendly style to it all. Stand still and don't move, I'll go find someone in this realm to help you." With a wink, Mr. Wolfe left the room, into another room, while Adrieve stood still waiting for him to return.
