Running for her life, Tilli stopped only when she found a door, strangely enough with a doorknob, and closed the door quietly as possible behind her, only to turn around and find no doorknob on the inside, carefully taking in her surroundings. The walls were blank, the door had no doorknob, she had a flashlight. None of that seemed promising, not in the slightest. Carefully stepping further into the room, she turned the flashlight on, only to see a blank nothingness before her. This wasn't right, she was lost, she was cornered, and she was scared.
"Well, it's nice to finally meet you," a familiar voice said.
"Mr. Wolfe, I didn't mean--- that is--- I'm sorry, please don't hurt Miss Snow! She didn't do anything wrong!"
"Oh but she did," he said. "She helped you, child. You, with your good intentions and your concern for others; you, with your wish to make sure everyone's safe. There are rules, child, and the first one is to avoid breaking the neutral balance brought with evil and good persisting in every story living here. I've rewritten their stories, and I can rewrite yours."
"What did you do with Miss Snow, and who was that tall man? Where are my sisters? Where have you taken my sisters?"
For a moment, Mr. Wolfe paused, then he chuckled with a shake of his head. "Asking the wrong questions is potent here, and poison runs in my veins. However, I congratulate you for learning. As for your answers, I cannot answer those, you must find those answers yourself. But there is one I can answer for you before I go. That man who took your friend Miss Snow is called the Dawrf. There's seven of him, in one body, and I'm sure if my mercenary went after you, he'd harm you. If you're not careful, I will have him do that."
"I just want to save my sisters, Miss Snow, and I want to be free of you. Why won't you let us go!?"
"Let you all go? How naïve of you to think that." Giving Tilli a cruel laugh, Mr. Wolfe stared at her for a second before voicing a snarl. "Stay away from my stories and stick to your own. If I catch you doing this again, you will be caught and I will harm your sisters. Are we clear?"
"Yes, sir, I won't break the balance."
Nodding, Mr. Wolfe pat her head as if she were a helpless child, removing his hand soon as possible and making eye contact with her once again, this time in a menacing sort of friendliness. "Then I hope to not have this talk with you again." Walking towards the door, he placed a door handle on the side of the door they faced, and when he removed it again, the door handle from outside was inside. After which, he opened the door and stepped out. "And now, I have more important things to do than talk to you, such as Snow White. Stay away and I might spare your friends."
Leaving the door open, he walked through the doorway, looking over his shoulder at Tilli. "And make sure you keep that flashlight, hm? It may save your life."
