The door reopened to show a simple woman dressed in rags similar to her own, perplexed and unsure if she should enter or not. That is, until Mr. Wolfe pushed her into the room and scowled at the woman. "Now, you will help this woman or your story will change. Thus far, you're just a servant, and I control if you see me. This is not an option," Mr. Wolfe growled.
Studying the young woman before her, hair pinned up in a messy bun. Thin, probably malnourished, shorter than what she'd have guessed, a dainty appearance, small feet. In every way, this bored Adrieve, because who wanted to be near someone like that? In the first seven seconds, she already hated Cinderella, who thus far had said no words. "You're supposed to fix my not having a dress? You're too old-fashioned for my tastes, do you even have red fabric on hand? I need to get to a ball in due time."
"I suppose I could, Mr. Wolfe told me that you were looking for that, I just don't think---" Cinderella said, only to be cut off by Mr. Wolfe.
"You don't need to think, girl, you need to be a seamstress for this woman, who only requires a dress. I of course will be here the entire time, as I have no one else I need to look out for tonight, so get started before I alter your story."
As the hours drudged on, Adrieve let Cinderella, an excellent seamstress and worker on solitary tasks at a time, took her time, but when the dress was finished, Tilli's cloak thrown away and her old, raggedy dress set aside for later use, Mr. Wolfe shooed Cinderella and studied over the red-clad Adrieve, a hum softly. "You look marvelous, my dear... Now, we only need to find you shoes. I believe Cinderella has shoes, but the issue is knowing if you can dance."
"Dance? Why would I need to know how to dance? I can woo a prince without dancing, I just need to be the most desirable woman so I can ruin her life."
"Ah, but you must learn how to dance, that way, we may being our next course of action." A hum warmly, he held his hand out to her, watching her warily accept his hand and frown slightly. "Don't pout, Lady Adrieve, it's unattractive."
"Just lead me there, be my dance partner, and get me a prince, and I promise I'll help you later. Good enough?"
"As you wish. Only remember, this ball is before Cinderella attended it, meaning he hasn't met her yet." With a bow, he lead her gently through the door, shutting it behind him gently and opening another door with his portable door handle, and, as they stepped in, he lead them to the dance floor, where he knew everyone would see her, including the prince who, from a glance, found Adrieve appealing. With that, he began the dance with the music's tempo to make the prince jealous.
