Chapter 47

It was now the 28th of December and you were back at your home in London. You had gotten a text from Carly earlier asking if you wanted to have New Years with her and Amelia and you wanted to go but you weren't sure because there was not much Louis could do. "Hey Lou" you asked a she looked up from watching a footie match on the tv "yeah babe?" He says as he pauses the game "See Carly texted me and asked if we wanted to spent New Years with them and obviously take Abbie and Kayden because of Kai but you know causes there's not a man and it would be girls would that be okay with you I mean I can tell her we're already doing something" you say and he laughs "y/n of course we can spend New Years with them they're lovely girls and I get on well with them plus it's only to midnight I hope because I don't think Kayden and Abbie would last any longer than that" you smile "of course we can go at midnight the twins will probably fall asleep before but thank you I can't wait to see baby Kai I've seen a pic and he looks so cute". You were making a smoothie when you heard Kayden scream out in pain so you rushed up the stairs and into the room to see Louis already there and Kayden lying on the floor "what happened?" You asked "He was trying to get his teddy on top of the wardrobe and fell off that's what Abbie told me and I'm pretty sure his legs broken" Louis told you and you sighed "well I'll get the car started for you and then I'll sit in the back with Kayden" you said going down stairs where Abbie now was "here the cars unlocked out your seat in the front and get your seatbelt on" you told her before putting on your shoes grabbing the car keys and heading out. "Mummy it hurts" Kayden cried as you hugged him tighter "it's going to be ok baby daddy's just dropping Abbie at uncle Harry's then we're going to the hospital". When you finally arrived at the hospital you climbed out the back seat and was about to lift Kayden up when Louis interrupted "babe no remember the doctor said you can lift heavy things and I know it doesn't feel like Kayden's one of them but he is just go to the desk and explain" Louis says and you nod sighing feeling worthless right now. "Hi my son has fell off of his wardrobe and we think his leg is broken" you tell the woman at the front desk and she types away and Louis comes to join you "okay I need your name and signature there and there" she says pointing to a piece of paper where you quickly write down on "please take a seat the doctor will be right with you" she says and you thank her. "Kayden Tomlinson" a man in his middle 40s shouts, you and Louis stand up and he leads you into his office "so Kayden what happened" he asked Kayden who was cuddling into Louis silent tears going down his face "I was trying to get my toy and fell" he says shyly and the doctor nods "okay well we're going to give him something for the pain and then an X-Ray but we need to wait a bit so I'll give you a waiting room" he explains and you nod "I'll be back in a minute just going to get him some medicine" he says standing up "okay thank you" you smile. "You okay baby" you ask Kayden as he sits on one of those chairs in the waiting room "yes mummy it doesn't hurt so much" he says and you smile "that's because the doctor is super and gave you some medicine and he's going to come back and see if you need a cast and guess what you get to choose your own colour" you say and he squeals "I want BLUE" he shouts and you laugh "you want blue you can have blue cause you've been a brave boy" you say and he has a big smile on his face "mummy when is the baby going to come out your tummy" Kayden asks "well we have to wait until February and it's only December then it's January then February so 2 months" you tell him and he nods. "This is a fucking joke now" Louis says and you sigh you've been sitting in this room for an hour and a half "I know Lou but there is more serious things than a broken leg" you tell him having experienced something when your dad and Skye were in the hospital.

You were sitting in the waiting room hoping to get some news soon from the doctors you were all by yourself as your mum had been drinking again and you thought it would be annoying to call anyone else. A woman had stormed up to the front desk demanding for a doctor to take and X-ray of her sons leg and you snapped there and then "Have you ever thought that there was more serious accidents than a broken leg because my sister and dad are in there fighting for there life's right now and your complaining about how no doctors coming to X-ray your sons leg well here's some advice why don't you go back to wherever you came from with your primark bag and be happy that your sons not been in a crash" you shout not caring about everyone staring at you.

"Y/n y/n" you snap out your dream when you heard Louis calling your name "what sorry?" You ask "there taking him down for an X-ray and I'm going to go with him you'll be okay?" He asks and you nod "yeah I'm just gonna text Harry and ask how Abbie's doing" you say and Louis nods following the doctor out with Kayden in his arms.
Y/n: hey Harry how's Abbie? Xx
Harry: Hey she good, worried about her brother but good... How is he? Xx
Y/n: Yeah good just away down for an X-ray right now poor thing looks worn out xx
Harry: bet he is, you'll be glad to get home and all have a good nights rest xx
Y/n: sure will, we'll pick Abbie up on our way back see you later xx
Your wait was finally over Kayden has got a blue cast on and is still trying to use his crutches but he's getting there you and Louis had already wrote your names on his cast and he was excited about getting everyone to sign it. You drove back from the hospital so Louis could have a sleep since he looked tired, you decided that once you picked Abbie up you would buy them a McDonald's and some ice cream since Kayden was brave and Abbie behaved well at Harry's. "Right so Abbie you've got a cheese burger and Kayden you've got a chicken one here and you both have a smarty mcflurry for later now your dads asleep because he's tired and I'm helping you into the house then I'll wake him up. "Right here's your crutches, that's it keep going well done Kayden" Kayden managed to get in the house with his crutches, you helped him sit down and then let the twins tuck into their dinner, you said hello to Alfie and fed him before going back out to the car and opening the passenger door, seeing Louis still sleeping he looked cute so you took a picture "Louis babe it's time to get up" you say kissing his cheek and he groans stretching then opening his eyes and you smile "I got you a McDonald's the twins are in eating there's but if you want to go to bed I don't mind" you tell him as he smiles "I'll eat my McDonald's then I think I'm gonna go to bed" he says getting out the car and you nod. Everyone was in bed and you couldn't sleep so you decided to lie down on a blanket outside to watch the stars. "Babe what you doing?" You hear Louis asks and you open your eyes to see Louis standing next to you "I couldn't sleep so I came out here it's quite nice" you shrug and he laughs "well want some company?" He asks and you shrug playfully teasing him "depends on who it is" he laughs "well I'm sure you'll like this guy since you've married him and have 3 kids with him" you smile at that "well I guess he can come watch the starts with me then"
