Erika's POV
She was quiet. Tears in her eyes.
Jeremy: Jaxon, Jazzy your excused.
They left. It was only Jason, and his parents.
Jeremy: how do you know what love is?
Erika: I'm sorry?
Jeremy: what is love to you? Your 18. What do you know about love.
Erika: um...it's hard to find-
Pattie: Jeremy...what's with all the questions.
Jeremy: she's the one that put him in prison. He's there because of her.
Pattie: Jeremy! Leave her alone.
Getting up his chair fell backwards. Giving me the ugliest look I've ever seen. He walked off.
Pattie: I'm so sorry dear. He's never like this. Jason could you take her home. Please. Tell me see what is wrong with him.
Jason: yea...okay.
Getting up,I heard him yelling at pattie.
Jeremy: SHES NOT EVER WELCOME HERE. UNDERSTAND ME?! NEVER ALOUD IN BERE AGAIN.!
I don't know what I did to deserve that. I didn't do anything wrong.
Making my way outside. Jason stopped me
Jason: don't mind him....that nigga lost his chill. He's never like that.
Erika: thanks...but I don't think I'm welcome here anytime soon.
Getting in the car with him...it was weird.
Jason: so what was my brother like?
Erika: he was....dominant. Doesn't trust people that easy...and warmhearted. Took me a while to get his trust.
Jason: how did he look? I haven't seen him since...
Erika: charming...actually looks like you. Similar face features...lips and noise.
Jason: did he about me? Or any of us?
Erika: he did....he said he missed his brothers more...
Jason: yea, we would always make trouble. No matter how big or small. We were always up to no good.
I laughed.
Erika: I see.
Making a left turn and coming to a stop. I thanked him.
Erika: thanks for the ride...and tell your mom dinner was great.
Jason: I will. Look sorry about my dad-
Erika: Jason...it's okay. Don't worry about it.
Jason: goodnight then.
Erika: goodnight...be careful on your way back.
Jason: will do.
Closing the door. I walked up to the stairs. Finally getting to my room. Taking everything off was the first step.
Tomorrows Tuesday. Oh great.
If I wanna keep this apartment...I need a job.
I'm not quitting school. But maybe online courses wouldn't hurt.Getting out of these clothes and into comfortable ones. I laid in bed.
Trying to remember to see if I said anything wrong that might have bugged Jeremy. But I didn't. I didn't say or do anything the wrong....maybe he thinks I'm not go enough for his son. But his son is a grown man. He can do whatever he wants.
