Erika's POV
Erika: what....what's wrong. I still have an other month
Doctor: you are nine months pregnant. You are in labor.
Erika: I swear I'm 8 months...how could this be?
Doctor: from your previous ultrasounds your baby is a normal size...which indicates that you are 9 months pregnant
I was trying to process everything. When I first met Justin we ran away for a month. Then we had sex...for the first time. I think that's when it happened.
Which makes sense....
Doctor: alright I'm just going to check how much your dilated...
Erika: ok-
She put her fingers in a very uncomfortable position.
Doc: you're at 3 centimeters I'll check up on you every hour. Make sure everything is running in place. Any pain?
Erika: very little....
Doc: any questions?
Erika: will it hurt? It's just...this is my first
Doc: do you want the sugar coated version or....the real deal
Erika: give it to me straight.
Doc: you will be in a lot of pain. You are pushing a human being out of you.
I began to panic
Doc: no...no don't freak out. That will cause stress for the baby and I will have to do a "c" section which in the end will hurt even more...but when you do start feeling any pain we do have epidural.
Erika: I'm afraid
Doc: everything will be alright. No need to panic. Do you have anyone here with you? Do we need to call someone.
Erika: Ivy Zelner she should be on my emergency contact number
Doc: right away
Within 30 minutes Ivy was here with half the damn college
Ivy: once everyone heard they wanted to come.
The doctor walked in
Doc: there can't be many people in here we want to be ready when the baby comes so please unless you are the father of the child, love partner..please exit the room.
Once they all did Ivy was there...soothing me. Trying to keep it positive.
