Episode 4: The Night That Changed Her

"Here" Rin said to Kaori handing her some tea and he sat down next to her.

"Thanks" Kaori whispered taking the tea and staring into mid-air. "I guess your wondering who 'He' is? Aren't you?" Kaori told him.

"You don't need to tell me, I know it's a painful memory for you" Rin said to her. She looked at him with teary eyes.

"No....I want to tell you" Kaori replied and gulped. "It was August the 14th, I was in an band with three of my friends we were quite well known we named ourselves 'The Runaways' because in order to make the band we all had to run away from home, One night after a performance...."

"THAT WAS AWESOME!" I screeched from backstage.

"Calm down Kai..." A girl with Short red hair told me.

"Shut it Kiki" The Blonde girl said playfully as she opened the exit door so they could walk to our tour bus. Outside our tour bus stood a very tired body guard.

"Tyrone, Go home we will be fine for one night" Miki said. Miki had bright green hair tied into two pigtails and was the best signer in the group the most loved of us all. She also played the Bass. 

The blonde girl was called Amy she was the guitarist for our group. I was a singer and played the keyboard and Kiki played the drums.  "I can't do that, What if someone broke in?" Tyrone said to Amy.

"We can handle our selves" I told him smirking He smiled at us and gave Amy the keys to our bus. Amy was the oldest by one year.

"Good night girls" Tyrone told us as we entered our tour bus.

"Night Tyrone" We all said together. We entered our tour bus and Kiki sat down on one of the small leather seats we had in there it was close to the entrance as well. Amy fixed her hair in the mirror and I stood talking to Miki. After a few minutes it seemed like it would be an average night. Oh boy we were wrong. I heard a click of the door opening and looked towards the door where a man walked inside our bus.

"Excuse me, you cant be here get out!" Kiki hissed standing up her hand on the table and her other on the chair. As the man stood in full view I noticed in his hand was a gun.

"Kiki, Calm Down..." I warned not wanting her to get hurt.

"...They all said that you were horrid.....That she was a weirdo for liking your music..." The man whispered.

"Excuse me?" Amy asked nicely.

" Then...Then...She.. couldn't handle them anymore...She...Killed herself..." He whispered.

" I'm so sorry for your loss sir but please leave..." Amy said.

"YOU KILLED HER!" The man screamed holding his gun up in rage and pulling the trigger and shooting Amy in the head. She fell back and it was all like slow motion as her body fell to our feet. The girl we all knew, The girl who we looked up to was dead.

"YOU MONSTER!" Kiki screamed tears streaming down her face. He then shot again at Kiki's chest making her fly back into her chair dead. She was so troublesome and always got us into trouble but she was like a sister and now she lay dead.

"Please we didn't do anything wrong!" Miki screamed. As another bang echoed throughout my ears blood pooled onto the floor and around the room. Some had splattered onto my face. I touched the blood and looked at the blood. I looked down at my friend who was still alive. The bullet had scrapped against her neck. I crouched down to her and put my hand over the wound blood was everywhere...So much blood..."

"You can stop" Rin told Kaori grabbing her hand and looking at the puffy cheeked Kaori.

"No....I have to tell you all off it..." Kaori whinnied. She cleared her throat and began again.

"Before He had the Chance to kill me the door slammed open and he was tackled down by Tyrone who must've heard the gunshots from the car park. He took the gun off of the mad man and held his hands together and a few minutes later Paramedics and police were here. They took Miki away to try and save her and they took the man away. They tried to question me but I didn't speak much. A few days passed and I stayed beside Miki's beside every day and two weeks after the accident she awoke from her coma but was unable to speak. Her voice box was severely damaged and would never speak or even sing again. A week after Miki was discharge and we attended our friends funerals.

I applied for high school's far away from the place we were staying while Miki attended a local high school. I grew my hair out too and stopped wearing contacts. d I wore deep blue contact lenses that's what most people recognised me for now no one recognises me because my hairs different and so is my eyes. Some people blame me for the accident and say I killed them all...but I know the truth."

"I'm so sorry" Rin told her. Kaori looked at him and began to cry again. She fell onto him not meaning to and cried into his shoulder. It was painful to remember but at least someone knew now. Rin put his arm around her and his other hand on her head trying to comfort her.
