 Episode 13: The Hunt

"What do you mean Dio is gone!?" West yelled.

"I mean He literally disappeared, A hooded man teleported him and My sister out of my house!" Hanna screeched back she was in shock she was shaking all over, her eyes were watering and she was terrified what the man may do to her sister and Dio.

"Its ok, Calm Down" Miki said walking over to Hanna and rubbed her back assuringly.

"Could it of been Garret?" Kaori asked them.

"No, Garret isn't the kidnapping type he'd rather just kill us on the spot" Hanna replied her voice still shaky. Miki took this all in who was this Garret? Was he the person who attacked them at Kaori's performance?

"Then who?" Rin inquired. The room was silent they hadn't left anyone else there so who on earth could it be.

"Does it really matter?" Kazumi growled standing in the doorway. "Can we just find them and get it over and done with?" She snapped.

"Fine, We can go into pairs" Kaori said. Miki went with Kaori and Rin, Hanna went with Serah and West went with Kazumi.

Kaori's group went in the school's direction, Kazumi's group went in the town's direction and Hanna's group went and looked around her house.

Miki shone her torch towards the school. Maybe the man she met could help them. "I'll be back in a minute" Miki said running towards the school.

"Wait! Why you going in there for!?" Kaori yelled as Miki disappeared into the darkness. Kaori shivered in the cold.

"You scared?" Rin asked shinning his torch on her.

"N-N-Nope" Kaori stuttered. A wind blew and the trees rustled and Kaori jumped and grabbed onto Rins hand. "Yes I'm Scared, I'm Scared" Kaori whimpered.

Miki crept through the burned high school and called after the stranger. She then spotted him at the old stairs and ran over. He looked up at her his face angered. "Leave before he comes back" He growled standing up.

"But please one of my friends has been-" Miki started but he interrupted.

"You know who I am!? I'm Garret the person who attacked your friends!" He snapped.

Miki couldn't believe it he was so sweet. She gulped. "I don't believe you" She told him.

"I am! I was ready to kill them! Kaori! Kazumi! Rin! All of them!" He yelled.

Miki hated that he was being so mean. "Why are you telling me this!?" Miki whimpered.

"So he won't get to you!" He shouted but it was too late.

"Who's this?" The Hooded man asked appearing beside the broken chandelier.

Miki felt frightened as she saw at his feet knocked out were Dio and Rikku. "No not her! She did nothing!" Garret protested.

"Shut up! You couldn't even kill them! I had to do it myself! They would've died if they came for you that day! I just teleported you out! Your such a fool!" The hooded man said. Garret felt rage he had been lied to.

Garret ran at him but was pushed into the building with a massive crash. Miki ran to him. "You knocked him out!" She cried.

"That was my intention!" He growled.

Kaori and Rin heard bangs from outside but when they entered the people were gone. Kaori looked frantically around. "Where is Miki!?" Kaori cried.

"Miki!" Rin called. Then they noticed over at the wall lay a figure. They ran to it.

"Miki?" Kaori said but whens he rolled the person over she saw the disfigured face of Garret.
