Episode 7: The Smile That Will Never Die

"Dio, Don't die! I'll got get help!" Hanna whinnied. She went to get up but Dios hand grabbed her hand.

"Don't leave me....Aki...." Dio whispered.

"Aki" Hanna repeated remembering back to the cemetery, he was visiting her grave.

"Tell me about Aki" Hanna said nicely holding his hand and looking at his still smiling face.

"I Remember the day we first met. It was winter and snow had just began to fall. She had just transferred into our class. I kinda was a loner since at this time West didn't got our school so I could really only talk to him outside school. It was my last class when we met. It was 'English class' I think. I walked as per usual and sat in mu usual seat and she entered and sat behind me. 

"HELLO!" Aki squealed at me as she sat down. I turned with a strange look on my face 'Why was he talking to random strangers?' I thought to myself.

"Uh hi?" I questioned looking at her. She was beautiful her light brown hair that flowed down to her shoulders, Emerald Green eyes and a beautiful orange rose in her hair. 

"So I'm Aki!" She chirped. My mouth felt dry and I felt my heartbeat quicken and my palms began to sweat I never really felt like that before.

"...I'm Dio" I replied and that's how it began every English lesson we chatted about random things and had a laugh and every time I smiled she would say. 'You have the most beautiful smile' and every time she said that I would blush madly. Then eventually I gathered the courage to ask her out. She said 'yes' which surprised me and we began dating and eventually she became my girlfriend. 

Her favourite place to visit was the top of the hill and she would always stand on the edge and the wind would blow through her hair and she would gaze out at the city. I would smile and she would turn to me and say 'You have the mos beautiful smile"

Dio coughed and wheezed his eyes felt more heavy but Hanna was determined to keep him from dying. "Come on don't stop, I want to hear more" Hanna said her face wet with tears. Dio gently smiled and continued his voice crackled and wheezy.

" On Valentines Day I spent the whole day preparing a dinner for her but she thought I forgot about her so I phoned her and she didn't answer. The voice mail she left was saying to me that if I tried to call not to bother because she was upset with me and never wanted to see me again. I walked to her house to talk to her about it but I got held up at the bridge. 

There had been an car accident and a  teenage girl had died. I fought through the crowd determined to get to Aki's house and.... I saw her orange rose surrounded by blood and metal shards. Aki had died..."

Hanna noticed Dio begin to cry. "You don't need to tell me anymore" Hanna said to him. He looked at her a gentle smile on his face.

"You look a lot like her.... Your personality is almost the same" Dio said reaching up at her face. Dio's hand dropped and his slowly began to close. 

"No! Don't you dare die on me!" Hanna screamed. "You saved me that day! You even took Mayumi's body even though you knew she was dead and since then...I...I...I" Hanna began and Dio's eyes shut. 

"I think I've fallen for you!" Hanna screamed as Dio's eyes closed. She flew her body onto his cold one and began to cry as hard as she could. Minutes passed and Dio lay still. Then a white glow came from Hanna but she had her head mixed up in fabric and salty tears to notice and the stake in Dio's chest dissolved into tiny pieces and Dio's injury slowly began to heal a few minutes later the injury was gone. Then Hanna felt movement. She looked up at Dio who was sat up. 

"What do you mean fallen-" Dio began as if nothing had happened. 

"Your alive!" Hanna chirped hugging him around the neck tightly. Dio was a little taken back but smiled even so.

At top the hill where the two had been standing before the burned stranger stood. "Why do they always get away!?" His creepy sinister voice echoing through the forest. 

"Calm down They will be done in time, When separated they will be unable to do anything" His friend said. A boy was beside him in a green hooded cloak. He named him self 'The Destroyer.'
