Episode 10: A Little Light in The Dark

Rain attacked the Ishikawa residence as Hanna stood beside the window. Kaori was in the dining room with Rin and West and Kazumi was upstairs pretending to sleep when she was really sitting terrified by her own reflection.

Dio stepped into the living room happy he could finally get to talk to Hanna. "About what you said in the woods did you mean it?" Dio asked.

Hanna took a long time to reply before she turned her head to look at him. "...Yes" She replied simply. " It's alright if you don't feel the same way, I can't force anything on you" Hanna told him turning around and walking over to him.

"But I do feel the same" Dio told her. Hanna was shocked that he actually did feel the same way she did. As the two stood alone they waited for one person to speak but no one did.

Over in the burned remains of Roozu High school stood Garret. He was stood in the old entrance hall the once crème walls are now charcoal black on the floor lay shards of glass that had came from the destroyed chandelier.

"Why am I wearing these gloves?" Garret asked the hooded man looking at the black leather gloves on his hands. The man put a plant beside him and simply said "Touch it"

Garret took the gloves off revealing his scarred and burnt hand you could see veins and dried up blood on it. He touched the plant and it quickly began to rot and wither and within a minute it was dead.

"Everything you touch will die, This is what the cost was for them leaving you in that place"

Garret looked at his hands a tear in his healthy eye and put his hands into fists. He turned and walked towards the exit but was stopped by the sudden appearance of the hooded man. "Don't you have done enough damage" He said angrily.

"What do you mean enough damage? They were altogether I didn't have a chance!?" Garret growled.

"Really? All you had to do was touch one of them and you couldn't even do that properly.....Your useless so don't get involved!" He growled. Garret glared at the man reading to punch him square in the face but didn't he didn't want to anger the only person he had left.

Kazumi awoke in the morning last night seemed like a dream it had to have been. There's no way her reflection was real. Kazumi stepped out of Kaori's bed and changed into her own clothes and put a hoodie on and made her way out. No one was at her home to worry about her so she didn't need to be anywhere so it was fine.

Kazumi walked towards the empty park and sat by the lake taking in the peace. She looked at the water and saw the reflection once more that was from last night. Everything got darker and the girl was the only light.

"So it wasn't a dream..."Kazumi panicked.

"Nope, It certainly wasn't" The Reflection told her smirking evilly.

" So you really are apart of me?" Kazumi asked her.

"Not fully, But I know everything about you, Your Memories, Feelings...Your Tragedies" The Reflection replied.

" Everything?" Kazumi said.

"Yes, Plus Wanna know a secret?" The Reflection asked. Kazumi took a long think and then nodded. "Come closer" The reflection hissed. Kazumi leaned over to the water and suddenly a hand shot out and grabbed hers. Kazumi screamed and fought against it. The arm clawed at her making her bleed and one drop went into the water and the arm returned. Then a black vapour came from the water and entered her eyes.

The reflection was gone and it was bright again. "What happened?" Kazumi asked. Then a voice in her mind echoed 'We are one'.

Miki walked down the street and stopped outside the remains of the burned school. She felt so sorry that Kaori had to endure another tragedy and thought she could lay some flowers down. Miki crouched down under the security tape and walked into the building and placed flowers at the chandelier.

"You should leave...." The hoarse barren voice that belonged to Garret told Miki echoing throughout the hall. Miki hadn't seen Garret at the attack on the concert so she didn't recognize him. She turned and saw his face and gasped.

"Are you alright?" Miki asked walking towards him.

"I'm fine, Don't come near me!" Garret growled.

"I won't hurt you" Miki said stopping. 

Garret looked up knowing full well who she was, she was Kaori's friend and he could use her as an advantage. He walked towards her which made her smile lightly. "I'm glad you came to your senses" Miki said moving her hand towards his face. Garret felt his heart stop, Could he really kill someone? Physically kill them.

"Stop!" Garret yelled before she touched his face but it was too late she was already there her hand on his face a caring look in her eyes.

"You should have some pain medication for this, It will hurt badly" Miki said pulling her hand away. Garret was amazed she didn't die but how? Everything he touched died, Everything.

"I will be by tomorrow to give you some" Miki said.

"But..." Garret began.

"No butts!" Miki ordered turning on her heel and walking towards the exit.
