Episode 6: Old Memories and Blossoming Feelings

"Last night, Ishikawa Kaori a Student at the recently burned down Roozu High School was attacked, Miss Ishikawa was one of the six survivours that survived the fire at the high school, Many inhabitants of this small village accuse the survivours of starting the fire so was this an act of revenge or was it a simple robbery...." The Woman on the tv said.

Kaori sighed and switched the TV off. "Kaori, What were you thinking!?" Hanna screamed at her. All six survivours were at her house and Rin had just explained fully what had happened up there. Everyone was in the room except Kazumi who sat on the doorstep with long black gloves on she stared at her hands in shock.

"I didn't do anything wrong..." Kaori hissed in defence. She hadn't gained much injuries in the fire but she did gain a large cut on her cheek which she has a bandage on.

"You know as well as I do you didn't need to stay standing there!" Rin pitched in. The three then began to argue. Dio tried sevral times to stop the arguement but it raged on. West slipped out and walked to the doorway and sat beside Kazumi.

"What's up short stuff?" West asked smiling at her. He soon lost his smile when he saw her gloomy face. "What's wrong?" He asked.

"Back in the attack....Everything I touched exploded...." Kazumi whispered.

"Come on don't be silly" West joked.

"I'm not" Kazumi replied putting her hands into fists and standing up. She entered the room and raised her voice.

"The Problem isn't what Kaori did, Its how she was saved!" Kazumi shouted.

"What?" Hanna asked.

"We all saw it time froze and a black thing came out of no where and protected Kaori, Plus before I tried to help but all I touched..." Kazumi began and looked her hand and turned it to a fist once more. "Was destroyed....The fire at school changed us all I think we all have these strange abilities..." Kazumi said.

"That's preposterous!" Hanna said laughing but it died down after no one else joined in. "Come on guys!"

"Its possible..."Rin began.

"Oh come on! Kaori you don't believe this do you?" Hanna asked but when Kaori looked away from her she was angered. "I knew it! Your all still a bunch of weirdo's! I can't believe that you all believe her! I'm leaving!" Hanna screamed running away. Dio sighed.

"I'll make sure she will be alright" Dio said gently running after her. Hanna ran towards the edge of town and up the hillside till she reached this ledge it provided a view of the whole town but the ledge was not a happy place many people had jumped to the spiky rocks and foliage below and died. Hanna though did not come here to do this.

Hanna stood on the edge and a wind blew her hair and it flowed in the wind. Dio climbed up the hill and noticed Hanna standing there and a flash came to him of his ex-girlfriend of her short light brown hair blowing in the wind and her turning to her and smiling. He shook his head and looked again and saw Hanna. She was as beautiful as his girlfriend was. He had always admired Hanna but what he was thinking was proper feelings for her.

"Dio?" Hanna said turning to him.

"You ran off, I came to make sure you wouldn't get hurt" Dio replied smiling and scratching the back of his head and closing his eyes.

Hanna smiled and looked back to the town. "I came here all the time with Mayumi" Hanna began smiling to herself. Dio put his hand by hand down and opening his eyes. "We used to sit here and watch the people go by, She was my best friend and was the only one who truly understood me....I'll never find anyone like that ever again" Hanna told him almost crying. Dio stepped forward and Hanna looked at him.

"I will be" He said reaching his hand out to her. She also did the same but a loud bang was heard at the top of the hill making the whole hill shake and the ground Hanna stood on crumbled.

"Hanna!" Dio yelled as she fell. He without thinking jumped off after her and grabbed her hand. They were both in the air plummeting to their death. Dio pulled Hanna close shocking her. He then managed to turn them around in mid air so he would be the first to make impact letting Hanna get less hurt.

"What are you doing!?" Hanna screamed. Dio looked at her and smiled gently. then in a flash they were transported from mid air onto the forest floor safely.

"Oh my god! Kazumi was right! We have powers!" Hanna said standing up. "You saved my life! Were both going to live!" Hanna squealed looking at him her eyes shut " Dio! were going to live" She said opening her eyes and realising why he hadn't replied. A wooden splinter had went through his ribs. blood was everywhere and he was barely conscious.  Hanna ran to his side. He was still smiling as well.

"No....Dio!"
