Episode 8: New Bonds and Old Bonds

"Was he alright?" Kaori asked Rin as they walked with each other on their way to the park.
"Apparently Hanna healed him" Rin told her smiling.
"I guess she believes us now" Kaori said smiling as well. They entered the park and sat at a bench. "Kazumi is still quite upset with her ability"
"I would too, She's lost the ability to touch anyone ever again" Rin replied. Kaori sighed and looked around the park. "Kaori, May I ask a question?" Rin asked her.
"Sure" Kaori replied.
"Do you still keep in touch with Miki?" Rin asked. Kaori sighed and nodded smiling lightly.
"We write and e-mail but we cant phone because of her voice" Kaori replied sighing.
"Kaori...." A soft yet hoarse voice said. The Voice sounded familiar to Kaori she looked around and as if by magic the very person she was talking about was stoof there. Her long green hair was let down by her sides and stopped just after her hips, Her emerald green eyes shone brightly and her fair skin complimented it all. She had a white bandage wrapped around her throat.
"Miki?" Kaori asked getting up. "Why you here? How are you speaking? The doctor said you would probably never speak again"
"I had many sugery's and The managed to fix my vocie box I will never sing though but I can at least speak" Miki replied smiling at her. Kaori hugged Miki and she hugged Kaori back. "So, Have you been wowing people with your singing voice?" Miki asked.
"Actually...." Kaori began.
"She has not" Rin finished of for her going into the conversation "I'm Rin, Kaori's friend"
"Why aren't you a pretty one" Miki chirped moving her eyebrows in a flirtatious motion getting a playful tap of off Kaori.
"Back to the topic, You are going to sing while I'm in town, I came to see you and I'm only here a few days" Miki ordered smiling.
"I couldn't anyways where would I do it?" Kaori told Miki.
"The town festival Tonight!" Rin said.
"Yes!" Miki agreed.
"No!" Kaori hissed.
"Why not?" Miki asked sadly making puppy eyes.
"......Fine" Kaori replied.

"Haha!" Hanna laughed looking at what Rin had just texted her.
"What is it?" West asked. Hanna was walking beside West, Dio and Kazumi. West wanted to cheer Kazumi up because he thought off her as a sister and she had been sad ever since Kaori was attacked by the Burned stranger. West invited Dio along and Dio invited Hanna along too. Hanna and Dio had been close ever since Dio had almost died they hadn't talked about Hanna's confession or about Dio's story.
"Kaori is preforming at the Festival tonight!" Hanna beamed.
"What? Can she Even sing?" West asked.
"West that's kinda mean..." Dio added in.
"I can't wait! We should all go!" Kazumi chirped smiling brightly for once in the past few days. The group did a simultaneous 'huh'.
"IT WILL BE SO AWESOME" Kazumi shouted locking at them all her fists clenched.
"Ok...." West replied weirded out.
A few hours passed and the festival began children, adults and elders alike all came here to the food stalls and circus performers and also to the concert that hosted many singers It was Kaori's turn and she stood backstage fussing over how she wasn't going to do it.
"Come on don't be a spoil sport" Miki chirped.
"I won't do it!" Kaori shouted.
"If you don't I'll ask Kazumi to touch her arm with no glove!" Rin ordered.
"OK I'LL DO IT!" Kaori shouted walking onto stage. She was cosplaying as Hatsune Miku while she was on stage. She walked to the centre and then began to sing 'Tell Your World' By Hatsune Miku. Miki gasped.
"What is it?" Rin asked.
"That's, That's Kiki's favourite song...." Miki told him.
The audience was hushed and Kaori began to smile as the beat got faster and the audience cheered as she danced around the stage finally feeling herself again.
But the music suddenly cut Kaori stopped confused as to why it was doing it. She then saw the lights cut. Then one light came on and stood there was The Burned Stranger....
