Episode 14: Integration and True Intentions

"Where are we?" Rikku asked again her voice was sharp and scared. The room they were in was damp and murky. The wallpaper which looked as if it used to be a creme were now a charred black and majority had peeled off to reveal the crumbling bricks behind it. The room was not much broken wood that had been burned into charcoal and a couple of chairs that were unusable. 

Dio and Rikku had chains on their wrists and were unable to walk any further than a few steps. "I don't know Rikku, I don't know" He replied looking around nervously hoping Hanna and her other sister were alright. The hooded man entered through the doorway Miki over his shoulder. She was unconscious and looked like she had been through hell. 

The man chained her up next to Dio and he looked at her with concern and then looked back at the man. "Why are we here?" Dio asked. The man turned to him a visible smirk on his face. That was the only part you could see his mouth. 

"It's simple really, They will come after you and when they do, I can trap them and kill them one by one" He said his smirk seemed evil and Dio so terribly wanted to teleport him and the girls out of here but here he seemed unable to use his powers.

Garret screamed when a bucket of water was poured over his head. He blinked his eyes open to see Kaori, Rin, West, Kazumi, Serah and Hanna all glaring at them wanting answers he couldn't give. He stood up suddenly Rin drawing his pocket knife and holding it to Garret's neck. "Where are they?" He asked coldly. 

Garret seemed completely uninterested in what he was being asked and was frantically looking around the room. "Where's Miki!?" He yelled pushing Rin off of him. He walked near the broken chandelier and looked frantically.

"Don't pull an innocent act on us!" Rin growled. 

Kaori then put her hand on Rins arm and he looked at her confused. "Rin, Look at him he's genuinely concerned."

Kaori stepped forward "Your the guy she's been coming to see aren't you?" She asked.

He turned and looked at her trying to have as a serious face he could. "Yes, She has, She has been coming to see me for a while now" 

Kaori then thought the next few lines of speech very carefully. "Do you love her?" She asked.

Garret looked at her as if she had asked him to risk his life for something. "I-I-I don't know" He stuttered.

"Garret! We haven't got time for this, Do you Love her!?" Kaori shouted.

"Yes! I love her! Why is it so important!?" He shouted back.  

"If you love her it means you would do anything to keep her safe, So, Please tell us, Have you got any idea where she may be?" Kaori asked.

Garret growled and nodded "Follow me" He said and quickly ran deeper into the school the rest of the group frantically trying to keep up. Eventually they arrived at the room they all remembered the detention room, Somehow it was still standing. 

Garret slowly opened the door and the group slowly entered. "Dio!" Hanna screamed as she ran towards where the chalkboard used to be and now where her sister, boyfriend and friend were chained. 

Hanna was confused when he wasn't happy to see her. "Dio?" She asked. 

"Hello" The hooded man said jumping into the room through the smashed window.

"It was a trap!" West said running to the door that wouldn't open. Kazumi tried to blast it open but it wouldn't work. 

"Finally you all can die, Garret failed greatly trying to do it" He said shooting Garret a disapproving glare.

Garret stepped forward " I will never hurt them again, Neither will you!" Garret growled.

"How? You can't use your powers in here Garret?" He said.

"I don't need to" He hissed sending a punch at the man but he dodged. He threw another punch but he dodged again he seemed to be going at a speed that Garret couldn't even see when he moved.

But the Hooded Man found it hard to continue dodging and Garret managed to get one punch onto the mans face making it bleed. "Gah! You fiend!!!!!!!!!!!" He screamed stumbling backwards towards the window. "You will pay for that! Garret! You will never, ever get out of here alive" He screamed bringing his arms out and moving his hand in a strange way that caused Garret to get extreme pain in his chest.

Miki began to come too and saw this. "Garret? No......Don't hurt him!!" Miki screamed. Her arms passed through the metal chains as if they weren't even there and she threw herself in front of Garret and pulled a blade made of pure light out of her other hand and threw it at The hooded man and it stabbed his hand making him stop moving it.

Garret no longer felt pain. The Hooded man growled "You will pay for this!" He hissed and jumped out the way he entered through the window.
