"Her best days were some of my worst. She finally met a man who's gonna put her first, While I'm wide awake, she's no trouble sleeping, 'cause when a heart breaks, not it don't break even. What am I supposed to do, when the best part of me was always you?"- Breakeven, by The Script

Sarah

"Hello?" I grumbled into the phone. I was lying in bed, in my pajamas. I really did not want to be up this early on a Sunday.

"Sarah." It was Nate.

"Hey, what's up?" My voice turned more cheerful, and I rolled out of bed.

"Something happened last night." Nate began explaining. "James called me this morning and told me."

"What happened?" I pressed for more details.

"Well, James was over at Rose's in the middle of the night. Don't ask me why. Then somewhere in the middle of all that Blake showed up. Anyway Blake said he saw Ryan sitting in a car, parked in front of Rose's house, so anyway, Ryan saw Blake, and he tried to run him over with his car."

"Oh my God." I gasped. "Is Rose okay?"

"She's fine, but apparently she got really freaked out, and she started to spastically cleaning, and making food, and she was really jittery according to James. She also burned herself making tea." Nate explained.

"I need to get over there." I groaned.

"I'll come get you. James and Blake are still at Rose's place." Nate said. "Last night, apparently, Rose gave specific instructions that we tell everyone what's happened. James thinks we should get everyone who could potentially be involved in the future." Nate took a breath. "Rose thinks that Ryan will stop at nothing theses days, she thinks he won't just hurt her, he'll go after everyone now, everyone she's close to."

I took a deep breath. Rose was never going to stop worrying, and I don't think I ever would either. Rose's secrets had become a burden to me. It wasn't bad, I didn't hold a grudge against her. She couldn't help it, but it had hurt me.

I worried about her, and now like her, I would have to worry about everyone else. The people who were close to her were also close to me, and I was also someone close to her.

I've had to be there for Rose so many times, I've had to take care of her, I just wish that maybe someone would start taking care of me. I felt selfish for thinking that.

"Sarah?" Nate called me back to earth. "Are you still there?"

"Yeah." I said briskly.

"So do you think we should get everyone together?" He asked.

"Yeah sure." I said briefly. I thought it was a good idea, I was just out of it still.

"Okay. I'll text James, and I'll call the guys, if you'll text AnnaCate and Reagan." He said.

"Okay I will."

"I'll come pick you up in a like ten minutes."

I agreed, and hung up after that. Then I thought, I might as well get dressed...

Rose

"Rosalie!" Someone was shaking my arm. "Rosalie wake up. Rose..." Again, and again.

My eyes fluttered open. I blinked a few times before I could see who was shaking me.

"Rose! Rose! Rose!" He chanted like a little boy.
