It all began two months ago, tremors shook the earth, storms crashed on city's, waves destroyed towns. The world as we knew it was falling apart and no one seemed to know why; no one but me. The stories about how Gods and Goddesses created the world, they are all real, the stories of how some heroes slayed monsters they are also real. However, the Gods are in dilemma, right now they are fighting to decide which is the true “mythology” or “religion”, they are the reasons for the tremors. How do I know? Good question, for some odd reason, I can see them. While everyone else only sees the waves crashing on the news report, I see Poseidon and his Roman counterpart Neptune battling it out.

So, considering that I'm the only one who can see them, I decided I needed to do something. Stay quiet and pretend that they're not there. I mean I'm a 16 year old highschool kid, what the hell could I do to the Olympian Gods and such. I decided that it's best for my health if I stay uninvolved and just wait until it all blows over, it's the only right choice isn't it? It is I don't need...

-Yo, Jace!-a familiar voice said interrupting my thoughts.- dude, don't space out like that, man.

-Sorry Brice,- I responded- I was just... thinking...

-About?-he curiosuly asked.

-Uh...-I began.

-Food's here- said a friendly looking guy.

He laid it down on the table and sat next to us.

-Thanks, Tyrone.-I simply replied back to him.

I can never get over this place, Jee-Hans Korean Service. Me and my two best friends whom you've just met come here to eat every Saturday at 2:30.

Brice is a pretty cool dude, his dad is the mayor of this old town, Brinkfield. Brice is around 5'6" like myself, pretty thin and muscular, like me as well, his ancestor are Vietnamese and he has short black hair and dark brown skin.

Tyrone is an african american guy, used to play football, he is 6'2", 200 pounds of pure muscle and he has black short hair like Brice, although curlier.

As for me, well, I'm a well built guy, same height as Brice and about same skin color too. My hair is black but long enough to put in a pony tail, unlike my friend's hair.

-About damn time-said Brice a bit irritated.

-You know what just shut up man-said Tyrone irritated as well.

I laugh a little-You guys never change.

They look at me then laugh as well.

-Whatever man, let's just eat-said Brice.-Itadakimasu!

Time seemed to slow down for a moment as I saw a figure crash through the wall, breaking it and landing on the other side of the restaurant.

-What the hell was that!?-Brice yelled

-Get out!-I yelled desperately as I pulled my friends to safety.

They followed running and then asked.

-What the hell happened there!?-they asked in unison.

-I dont know! Let's just get out of here!-I yelled, trying not to glance at the figure standing up from the rubble.-It's not safe here, let's go!

-Not so fast.-I heard a powerful voice call. By the look of my friends faces I could tell they heard it too.

-You, the long haired mortal-the thing I saw standing up from the rubble, called.- tell me your name.

-Yo yo yo! Who is he!? Why is he asking for you-Brice said pointing at him, confirming that not only did he hear him, he saw it too.

-Yeah man!-Tyrone replied with the same desperate tone in his voice.

I lifted my hand with my index finger up telling them to shut up-Names have power, and it's only courtesy to speak your name before asking someone else for theirs.-I said as calmly as I could and acting brave.

He took out a sword and in an instant, closed the distance between us and put the tip against my neck,- Do as your told mortal.-he said in anger.

-Jace.-I blankly said not being able to process what just happened.

-Hmph, listen to me Jace and listen well-the God began.-we can sense you, he who sees and hears the celestial beings, and we are not happy with you, for said reason.

-It's not my fault!-I said rapidly-I didn't choose this! What do I have to do with any of this!?

-The Gods are fighting.-he interrupted- all the myths and gods you know, are real, and they are fighting to see which mythology or religion is the real one. We can sense each other, us gods and creatures, but for some reason, we can sense you as if you also were one of us. Other Gods aren't as calm and cool headed as myself, so I must warn you, watch yourself.-The god finished.

-Who are you?- I asked.

-Susanoo, brother of Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi, slayer of Yamata no Orochi.-the god said-One of the Shinto Gods.

Brice stood dumfounded with Tyrone not being able to register what was happening. He then looked at the God and said-Oi, Susanoo, you said what you wanted, now leave us be will ya!-he yelled.

He again demonstrated his immense speed and put the edge of his sword against Brice's neck- Watch your tongue mortal, learn to know your place.-he finished.

He then stepped away, his sword already sheathed, and said- I must take my leave, for my battle is not over, however, remember Jace it's just a matter of time before gods come after you. Be careful of who you are around with when the time comes, sayonara.
