I had never seen so many dogs in the same place at once. It almost looked like the ground was moving as the dogs began to approach us.

-Hand over the girl and your death shall be quick.-the powerful God demanded.

Anubis was a seven foot tall male, with the head of a black jackal with glowing red eyes and black sclera. He had a very physically fit body and arms. He wore clothing similar to that of a male Pharaoh.

-You want her!? You need to pry her from my cold, dead hands!-I yelled.

-As you wish, insolent mortal.-he cockily replied.

He ordered his jackals to attack us and so I took out my sword. In response my eyes began to glow goldem with power. I could their glow this time for some odd reason. I then head off, going faster than ever before while doing less than half the effort than the last time. I mowed through the jackals with my sword as I heard them whimper. Among the jackals I saw few mummified ones that disintegrated as I hit them. I eventually mowd through all of them before my friends could even blink. Anubis was quite impressed too, I could feel it... I can feel them now... The Gods, I can sense them and their feelings.

-Surprised?-I asked sarcastically.

He blinked twice, still dumbfounded before he finally reacted and began acting condescending again.

-Impressive... You're more capable than I thought. To top it off there's two of them now...-the God said.-Interesting. Let's see how you handle this God Slayers!

Did he just say God Slayerssssssss, With an S? As in a plural? Well whatever, right now I need to take care of this guy.

I went straight for him as fast as I could creating shockwaves that made the earth tremble with each step. He was standing 100 m away from me, yet in the blink of an eye, I was able to get behind him and kick him. He shouted in pain as he crashed into a nearby mountain at a speed that easily surpassed Mach 20. The crash triggered a rockslide that crushed the God damaging him further. I thought the battle was over as there was nothing but silence. However, as if on cue the boulders that crushed the God flew off in all directions. One of them was headed directly toward the school. I went as fast as I could and even traveled through the air by kicking it, then I began cutting the boulder in many small pieces.

The stone which was easily three times my size was cut into small pebbles in the blink of an eye.

The God then appeared in front of me and punched me straight in the face. His fist hurt like getting struck with a hammer. My body is surprisingly resilient, given that I had expected my jaw to break. Anubis approached me in an instant though I had been launchef very far. He grabbed me by the neck and raised me up into the air.

-Did you really think it was that easy!?-Anubis yelled outraged.-If you wish to call yourself a God Slayer, then kill me! I'm not a Chimera, a Hydra or a conceites brat like Heracles! I am an immortal being! How do you kill someone like me huh!? Face reali-.the god was interrupted by a hand that had pierced through it's chest.

The hand glowed purple and the aura around it was so strong it seemed to be a flame. The God let me go as he felt pain from the puncture. As I looked to see who had pierced the God's chest like that, I saw Kate standing behind him with glowing purple eyes.

-Jace,-she said.-we are evil and enemy's to the world and the gods. Don't try to be a hero.-she finished.

Her purple aura looked menacing in on itself, due to how dark the shade of purple was. Yet I could also feel it and it was ominous, dark, and evil. As for mine it was the whole opposite. What did she mean by what she said? The God kicked her away and sent her flying behind him. Tyrone ran as fast as he could and was able to intercept and catch her body to sure she was unhurt.

-Are you okay!?-she asked worried.

Tyrone laughed to then say-I have impenetrable skin, don't worry.

She sighed with relief.-Jace isn't the good guy. He is a God Slayer, God Slayers are evil because they kill the Gods. The Gods are supposed to be good guys. He needs to know that or he will die here.

I heard their conversation from afar and understood them but, I can't possibly be the bad guy. The Gods are the evil ones that are causing havoc in order to fulfill their own selfish desires. Anubis's wound healed soon enough.

-You may have impenetrable skin, but your soul is still human!-he yelled as he appeard in front of Tyrone.

Tyrone jumped away startled as Anubis raised his palm in front of him. There was an Egyptian Hieroglyph that looked like the scales of justice. Then a giant version of said scales fizzled into existence within a sandstorm that had appeared.

Isabelle screamed at me.- Break the scales! They will kill Tyrone!

-These are my scales of truth!-Anubis yelled.-A mere mortal cannot even scratch them!

I charged at them and my sword began to glow a golden light. I figured out that as a God Slayer, things that are supposed to be immortal, unbreakable, impenetrable, etc... Can be pierced through if I sorta channel my power through my sword. That's how I was able to kill Heracles and I can also break through these scales.

I channeled all of my power into my blade and tried to cut apart the wretched contraption. I swung with all my might, yet I was blown back from how much stronger the Golden Scales were.

The God then touched Tyrone and pulled out his soul. He then brought out an ostrich feather and placed it n one side of the scales.

Isabelle yelled.-Ma'at! Destroy the scales! Quickly!-as tears of despair flowed down her cheeks.

I couldn't do anything... I just fell on my knees giving into despair. He took out Tyrone's heart and put it on the other side of the scales. It's over, our journey has ended...
