Chapter 23: Let's go on a trip

-Come out and face me like warriors, you bastards!-Mars yelled again as his men were mowed down, by the boars and the lion. He got enraged and swung his sword from his position in the direction of the boars and his men. The force of his slash was so powerful it cut the boars along with his mean to pieces.-I will destroy this town if I have to, you hear me!?

I teased the God by laughing manically, followed by rapidly changing my position. He summoed another sword and slashed randomly and the mountain area found itself destroyed, Kate and Isabelle being exposed.

-There you are you rats!-He yelled as he slashed his blade towards them.

I made my way in front of them with Tyrone and Karry in tow. They shielded the girls as I sprinted at full speed towards Mars. I was going so fast in fact, that I saw, almost in slow motion, a lightning bolt that Brice called, and how it slowly made it's way down on Mars. I ran around Mars as fast as I could and saw the God begin to choke for air. I created a vacuum where I slowly tortured him. When I heard his heartbeat slow down and his breathing stop I punched him into the air, but kept him alive. He slammed down into the ground face first, not even trying to stop his fall, or not being able to.

I stepped on his head and pushed it into the ground.-Plead for mercy before your new God.-I said.

-Go to hell.-he answered hoarsely.

I stepped on his head pretty hard, enough to make a whole on the ground.-Plead for mercy.

-Die.-he said hoarsely.

I took out my samurai sword, God Smasher, and thrust it onto his right hand as he let out a loud scream of agony.-Last chance, plead for mercy.-I said irritated.

-P-p-please... Mercy...-he said.

-Hmph, pathetic.-I lifted him and trew him into the shark pool.

-No! Wait!-he yelled in agony as he was torn to shreds. I looked at him straight in the eyes. I had humiliated him, made him plead, only to stab him in the back.

-Die a painful death, War God.-I finally said. I raised his mutilated body and drenched myself in his Golden blood. I threw the body towards Kate and then picked up his soul.-Brice.-I said and turned towards him with the soul in my hand.-Take it.

He nodded and took it in. More hair grew on his body, he suddenly had golden hoop earrings on his ears, and he was able to manifest an aura staff.-Don't disappoint me.-I said coldly.

He gulped a bit surprised at my attitude.-Yes, sir...

I lifted myself into my aura avatar which had grown taller and with samurai armor.-Foolish Gods!-I yelled out at the world.-Using only brute force you won't defeat me! I am stronger than you lot! Don't underestimate my power, foolish Gods! If you use only brute force you will die time after time! If you so wish, I will keep diminishing your numbers! If you won't come to me, I will come to you!

I came back down and said a goodbye to my friends as I sped off, into the ocean, where I trained my swordplay. I channeled my strentgh and swung my sword as hard as I could... Nothing happened... I did it again and again and again, yet I got the same result, I kept this going for two whole hours. I decided to breathe in and out and calm down. I focused, I closed my eyes and imagined the slash going forth like Mars'. I opened my eyes and swung with all my might as I let a grunt out. The water tension broke and I saw a straight line carved through the ocean, for around 6 feet.

-I have the technique down.-I said to myself.-Now I must only perfect it.-I realized I needed to train my arms further. I needed to figure out how...- Maybe I'll need a little help...-I said to myself. I texted my friends that they must all meet me at my house tomorrow morning.

Text conversation:

-Meet me at my house tomorrow morning. It's urgent!-I said.-Is anyone still at the site of our battle?

-I am.-Tyrone and Isabelle answered simultaneously.

-I need you to take armor from Mars' corpse and at least ten armors from the soldiers.-I said.

-Why would you need that?-Kate asked.

-We're going on a trip.-I said.

-In our favorite Rocket Ship?-Brice asked sarcastically followed by many laughing emoticons or emojis.

-No.-I said followed by an annoyed emoji.

-Where are we going?-Karry asked.

-We're going to Europe.-I said.

-England? With the many pretty boys X3- Karry asked excitedly followed by many heart emojis.

-No.-I said again annoyed.-We're going to Greece.-I said.

-Why? Yogurt?-Tyrone said sarcastically sending many emojis of laughing.

-Sometimes, I wonder if saving you was the right thing to do -.-"-I said very annoyed.

He sent laughing emojis-No really, why in the world would we go over there?

-We're going to go diving into a volcano.- I said.

-I don't need your sarcasm -.-" -Karry said annoyed.

-I'm dead serious.-I said sending a serious emoji.

They stayed silent for a while.

-So armor?-Tyrone asked.-On it! I'll leave the volcano diving to you guys!

-What!?-Isabelle said.-No you won't!

I felt the earth shake violently.

-Tyrone! Earthquakes is cheating!-she sent through the chat.

-Idiots.-I said and then said goodbye and reminded them of the meeting.

Back to Jace's point of view:

-Well, I better resume my training.-I said to myself.-I hope they all arrive on time tomorrow.

As I said that I went back to my training. I will keep training until I can launch my attacks as far as I want, or until it's time to meet with my friends, whichever comes first.
