Chapter 24: Betrayal

I yawned as I walked out to the yard. It took me until 1:00am but I mastered the technique. Now I could even do the technique with my fists. I got cranky and began laughing manically due to the migraine I was experiencing. It was 9:00am and Kate hsd already showed up.

-Hey, Jace!-she yelled happily.

I twitched.-Please don't yell, it's very unnecessary.

She looked down a bit disappointed.-Sorry...-she said tearing up.

I pet her head comfortingly.-Don't worry about it, it's okay. We waited around and by 10:00am everyone was there.-Okay! Get ready for the ride of your lives!- I lunged them all over my soldiers and in around 2 seconds we arrived at Greece. -Here we are!-I yelled happily, trying to live with my migraine.

-So...-Isabelle asked.-Why did we come here?

-And why did we need to pick up the soldiers, armors. From their corpses?!-Tyrone asked a bit mad.

-Obviously to dive into a volcano!-Brice yelled mockingly- You guys are so dumb sometimes, Jesus Christ.

Isabelle and Tyrone looked at Brice very annoyed.-Anyways, we're going to dive into volcano to look for someone.-I said.

-No!-Isabelle yelled.-I know who we're looking for and I refuse!

I laughed.-Aw come on, don't be like that.-I said.-Besides, I'm your ride home. If you wanna walk all the way back, or buy plane tickets, by all means, be my guest.-I said walking off into the direction of the volcano.

-That's not fair!-she yelled extremely annoyed.

-Aw, what a pity.-I said pretending to be sad. She then jumped on my back and started banging her fist into my head.

-Take me home, you unfair piece of crap!-she yelled.

-Ow! Quit it!-I yelled and noticed everyone staring at us and laughing. I grabbed her leg and swung her around and then dragged her through the floor the whole way over there.

-Let me go, so I can kill you!-she yelled mad.

-Wow, interesting proposal, but I refuse.-I said sarcastically.

Finally we arrived at the base of the volcano. The volcano was in a very remote island and it was pretty much the only thing around. I looked down it and as I expected, there was nothing. It looked like a mountain with a hole in it.

-Well... That's weird.-Tyrone said.

-What do we do now?-Kate asked.

-Ban.-I said.

-Ban?-Brice asked.

-Yup.-I said as I grabbed Brice and threw him inside, he cursed at me and screamed as he fell.-Banzai!-I yelled as I jumped in as well.

When we arrived at the bottom I saw a large iron door. I looked up and saw my cowardly friends.-Come on down, there's an iron door leading to somewhere.-I yelled.

They came down and we decided to investigate further. As I opened the door the inside of the volcani was lost. I looked around and it was a blacksmiths forge. I couldn't even tell that we were actually inside a volcano.

-God Slayer!-I heard a powerful voice yellm

-Duck.-I told my friends as I did the same and a fireball barely grazed us.

-Get out!-Hephaestus yelled enraged. I looked around and realized he had many turrets and canons pointed at us.

-Impressive craftsmanship.-I said going around as I pleased.

-Don't patronize me!-He yelled.-You are an enemy of Zeus, you are an enemy of Hephaestus! Now get out!

-Aw, I was hoping you could help me out.-I said mockingly.-You're no fun. I can tell why Aphrodite would cheat on you.

He got madder and lifted me, grabbing me by the neck.-You punk, I will burn all the way down to your bone if you don't leave now.-I didn't bother looking at the God before though now I couldn't help it. He was very ugly, wrinkly, he was rather scrawny looking, and he had a long white beard.

-Relax, grandpa.-I said.-I'm here to offer you a deal.

-What type of mockery is this!?-He said.-I will accept no deal from an enemy!

-Oh. Okay, I guess I'll have some other God marry her. She was so into you as well.-I said walking away.

He grabbed my shoulder.-What are you talking about, boy?

-Kate!-I yelled.-Come here.-She slowly walked over, I had informed her that I needed her to act like she wanted to marry Hephaestus, to persuade him and get him off guard.

She flicked her beautiful, silver hair, which had grown all the way down to her waist now.-Hello there, handsome.-she said giggling a bit.

Hephaestus' eyes looked at her with delight and love.-What's this sweetheart doing here?

-My deal.-I said.-You work on some armor and weapons for me and she's all yours.

-Really!? So, I do something I love, and you'll give me something I'll love to do?-he said in a very excited and dirty way.

-In a vulgar manner of speaking, yes.-I said.-Precisely.

-Jace you bastard! What are you doing!?-Karry and Isabelle yelled respectively.

-You have yourself a deal!-Hephaestus yelled.

I gave him my hand for him to shake which he gladly took. Then I turned and kicked him so hard he crashed into a wall and I still held his arm on my hand.-Bloody pervert.-I said coldly. I then rushed to him and punched through his head. Hephaestus had some Cyclopes who helped him and they went to attack me, however Kate whipped them with her tail, and they crashed into walls, dying upon impact. I took Hephaestus soul and placed it inside me. I suddenly got a headache and my third eye went crazy. Normally when there's danger it does that, and the more dangerous a situation, the crazier it goes and it causes me to get a headache. However, there's no danger! Why would it... My thoughts were interrupted. A large sword pierced through my chest.

-The horrible danger...-I said in my last words.-All this time, it was you... Why..? Brice...
