Myth Or History?

Chapter 21:It begins

I got everyone to agree to the training we prepared a ring. It was a circular ring, around 60 feet in diameter and if either of us were to call outside, it's game over. They all stood distributed along the circumference, whilst I was in the middle. I blew a whistle and rapidly threw it aside as they came running towards me. If they kicked me I lose, however I have to kick all of them out in order to win. I had no weapons on me, yet they did. I saw Isabelle behind me preparing an arrow while Brice and Tyrone came from my left and right side, respectively. I lept into the air and placed my now, primate looking feet on their heads. I then spun around as fast as I could, making them spin around and fly off into a distant direction. By that time Karry had pulled out her sword and was in front of me on the ground about to jump towards me to cut me, while an arrow was a few feet away from my head. As Karry jumped and tried to slash me, I kicked her sword up into the air. My leg was directly above my head and I brought it down in an axe kick that made her faceplant into the ground. I grabbed the arrow and threw it back at Isabelle as I landed, yet she made a tree rise and blocked it. Karry's sword was falling beside me and so I decided to kick it, making it fly, penetrate the tree completely, and, if Isabelle's reflexes were a bit slower, puncture her arm, making her unable to fight.

Kate finally decided to participate as she brought out her purple sash full of daggers. She went to fight me head on and I used my long nails to battle against her. We were moving very fast, so fast in fact, that the human eye wouldn't be able to track our hands. Brice summoned lightning onto himself and began laughing maniacally again. Tyrone pulled out his mighty Trident, and charged towards me. Karry stood up and began wielding Mjollnir, she threw it at me with all her strength. Isabelle summoned a flower that produced some sort of sap and she used the back end of one of her arrows to spread it on the tip of three other arrows. I don't know what that was, but it was definitely poisonous. It all seemed to be coming at the same time, but I focused on using my newly found skill to see their actions. Brice was first, he went straight for me and chanelled all the lightning he took into the tip of his fingers on his right hand.

He laughed maniacally.-Chidori!-he yelled, quoting a technique used in an anime. I grabbed him by the arm and body lauched him at Tyrone who was the second to come towards me. All the while I was still trying to defend myself against Kate's attacks. I read her attacks with my new eye, and I made her daggers fly off. I tried to kick her out of the ring despite being in the center, however she used her thirteen tails to stop herself. She then fused with Anubis, and summoned an entire army. I punched Mjollnir to destroy the poison arrows, then I decided to get more serious. I began going at Mach 10 and tearing through Kate's army. Tyrone made a portal to the ocean at my feet, in order to make me lose by the technical rules. However I kicked the air to stay over the water, since I couldn't use my aura. After tearing through the army all of them were stunned. I went at Mach 100 and started kicking them off the ring, the last one I kicked off was Tyrone.

Before I got to him to kick him off he said.-Name the movie of the phrase.-he thrust his trident into the ground.-"Release the Kraken!"

The giant beast appeared and I smirked. Finally, I could get serious. It had horns on it's head and each sucker on it's tentacles had small blades the size of a knife.

-Hmph, you think this can stop me?-I said confidently. I went at Mach 100 again and with my horns I pierced through it's skin and found myself inside the beast. I looked for every single organ I could find and destroyed it. I didn't worry since, previously, I had cut it into many pieces and it reappeared now so, if I kill it it'll still appear again later. Finally, I came out of the beast's skull and kicked Tyrone off the ring.

-I guess I win right?-I said.

-Not quite.-I heard a strong voice say.

I turned around and I saw a warrior. He wore bronze armor, wielded a gigantic shield that had many scratches from battles and an equally gigantic sword. I could feel the bloodlust emanating from him.

-Who are you?-I asked intrigued.

He threw a dagger towards me at a surprising speed, yet it was a warning shot that wouldn't touch me, so I didn't even flinch.-Midnight. Saturday. If you're late I kill all of them.-he said pointing at my friends.-I wait for you, God Slayer.-as he turned, in his armor I saw the letters SPQR. He left the area and I heard several feet marching off as he did.

-They're taking us seriously.-I said to my friends, as I saw the many different auras around the God.

-Why do you say that?-Karry asked.

-They brought an army, and their best commander.-I said a bit scared.-We have three days until Saturday... We must train.

-Why? Who was that?-Kate then asked.

I laughed a bit in my turn of madness, as I imagined what he would do to us, should we fall in battle.-That. That my friends and companions was a Roman army, and there's also the 400 men he brought with him.

-Are you saying he's a one man army?-Brice asked.

-Of course he is!-I ssid laughing.-That was the god of war! That was Mars! The Roman version of Ares!-I laughed again as I slipped into madness ince more.
