savannah's pov

december 28th

I had just woke up to a yell downstairs. I got up and saw Nate wasn't in bed now. I walked downstairs and saw Nate and Stew was laughing at Sammy. I looked at him and he was holding his cheek. Then Kami and Monte came up stairs from the downstairs guest rom and said, "What's going on? I heard a yell or sceam?" She looked over at Sammy and said, "So Nate what did you do to your bestfriend?" "Um, i um. Smack cammed him..." "Nathan Montgomery Maloley, your 22 years old. And you have 2 daughters and 1 son. Are you gonna teach them to slap someone?" "I sure as hell am gonna teach them that if someone hits them, they hit them back. My kids don't get in a fight and not fight back. That's what you and dad taught me, Stew and Kaylan. So why can't I teach my kids?" "Maybe Savannah doesn't want you to teach your kids violence."

They looked at me and I just didn't know what to say. I shrugged my shoulders and just went into the kitchen and got the twins' bottle ready. I went back upstairs and heard the twins were crying. I walked into the room and picked up Kaylan and fed her. While I was feeding her, I called Nate upstairs and told him to feed Mahogany. I handed him her bottle and he started feeding Mahogany.

Around 8:55 Kaylan was done with her bottle, I changed her diaper and onesie. Then Nate finished feeding Mahogany and changed her. We walked downstairs and saw Stew, Sammy, and James were watching some tv show. And Monte and Kami were in the kitchen cleaning. I told Nate, "Put the twins on one of their mats. And watch them Nathan. I gotta get some things done." He groaned frustratively and put Mahogany down on her mat and then took Kaylan and put her down on her mat. I then went upstairs and got the twins' hamper and brought it into the laundry room. I then found James' clothes and put it in the twins' hamper also. I put their clothes in the washer together. I turned the washer on and went into the living room and saw Nate had my phone. He never is on my phone.

*nate's pov*

Savannah was washing the clothes and her phone started ringing. I picked it up because it was the lawyer. Then Savannah saw me with her phone and had a kind of disgusted look on her face. I looked at her but she just walked off to the upstairs.

*phone call*

"Is Nathan Montgomery or Savannah Marie here?" I got up out of the chair and walked to the stairs and started walking up them and said, "Yes, I'm Nathan. Why?"

"I think his name was Bart Bordelon just sent over the footage of the hotel that happened that night to the detective. Also, I found on that, from the detective that he was surprised by what happened and that those charges, will not be on your permanent record if you are found not guilty. But we need you and Savannah to come down to my office. Today preferably because, I won't be at my office till next Wednesday and we need your statements today. So we can get on with the trial. Because the trial is soon." "Okay. Well me and Savannah will be there once we both get dressed." "Okay. See you soon."

I ended the phone call and walked into mine and Savannah's room and said, "We have to go down to Craig's office today to make our statements so the trial can be speedy. And we can leave the twins home if you want." "Yeah, I trust your parents and Sammy with them. But Nate i need to talk to you in the car." "Is it bad?" "No." "Okay."

She got off the bed and went to our closet and picked an outfit out. She showed it to me and said, "Should i wear this or should i wear something else?" "That looks fine." "Okay. well I need to take a shower." Oh no she ain't. She walked into the bathroom and sat her clothes on the counter and started undressing and I looked in. She shut the bathroom door. I sighed and got my clothes out and headed into the bathroom, climbing into the shower with her. She looked and me and shook her head.
