Savannah's pov
I had just woken up and I was in my chair in the living room. I felt a slightly small human in my lap. I looked down and saw it was Mahogany. She was still asleep. She was so perfect in so many ways.
I looked around for Nate and Kaylan and didn't see anyone. I knew I couldn't get up because I'd wake up Mahogany.
"Nathan, where are you?" I slightly yelled careful not to wake up Mahogany.
I heard some rustling downstairs meaning he was downstairs probably with Kaylan. I tried headed back to sleep seeing it was only 10:10. I tried shutting my eyes till I heard the front door unlock. I looked up and Nate was coming in with Kaylan in her stroller. If he's coming inside right now then who's downstairs? Cameron'?
"Hey babe. How long have you been up." He said with a cheeky smile. I loved that smile.
"About a minute. Where've you been?"
"Walked around our street for like 15 minutes. My leg started hurting so I brought Kaylan in. Where's there walkers?"
"I don't know to be honest. In their room? The storage closet? Downstairs in the guest bedroom?"
"I'll text Cameron to see if it's down there. He's down there now. Him and Hailey decided not to go for coffee. But I think he's planning on taking her out tonight. She ain't down there though. He's doing a younow I think." He finished his sentence right as he was getting Kaylan out of the stroller.
"Oh. Do you wanna do anything today?"
"I really don't care babe. It's also supposed to start raining in like an hour. So I think it'll be a movie day till we have to pick up James." I nodded and looked down. Mahogany was now starting to wake up.
My little family was perfect. Even if I did have 3 beautiful children; even if James has never met his birth mom, our mom, or his birth dad; an idiot of a husband who I fell in love with after only knowing him a day. I think my life is complete. But I know what 1 thing is missing from our family. James and Nate want another little bo-
"Babe did you hear me?" I looked up and saw Nate had sat down and put Kaylan in her bumpo seat.
"No what."
"Have you actually talked to Sadie and Walker lately? You barely spoke a word to them at Kaylan and Mahogany's party Saturday." He never actually questioned my relationship with them.
"Not really. I don't think me and Walker have ever got along. And then Sadie we really don't talk unless she asks me for relationship advice with Swazz. But that's about it. I really wish me and Sadie were closer since she is my age. I'm just older by 6 months."
"Okay. Maybe you should try and talk with bo-"
"I don't wanna try!" I yelled and he looked taken back. "Why?"
"I just don't want too Nathan!" Oh god. I used Nathan. I'm probably bout to start my period. I only say Nathan when I'm hormonal. And i used to call him Nathan a lot when I was pregnant. And i'm most definitely not pregnant right now.
"Oh. Sorry for even asking Savannah."
"No Nathan. I'm fine. I'll try to talk with them. I promise."
He smiled. His dimpled started showing. Oh my god, they are amazing. I swear the girls got their dimples from Nate. But nobody in our family had dimples. Not even James' birth dad had dimples. So how could James have got dimples? I don't even have dimples. What the heck.
I thought I had stayed quiet but I didn't. I had woke her up.
"Lemme see her." I handed Nate, Mahogany and she instantly calmed down. She was the perfect definition of her dads child. She smiled in his lap and he looked deep into her eyes. I know if someone ever hurt the girls or James, or even me, Nate wouldn't be too happy. And that's what I love about Nate. He is protective but not too protective. I seriously love him. I love him so much. I would do anything just to see him smile.
So crappy chapter but ya know oh well. And please comment your thoughts on this chapter it would mean a lot too me. I love you guys it means a lot!
