Savannah's pov

*time skip to january bc why not and i have bad writers block*

I woke up to some slight banging downstairs and when i went downstairs, I saw it was Sammy and Nate trying to cook. Not cooking. Trying to cook. I shook my head and went over to the island and  sat down watching them.

"Hey baby girl." Nate said as he came over and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Hey."

"What time do you wanna be leaving?" He asked me. We were gonna go to the lake house my dad has for his and my birthday.

"6:45 ish? 7:15 ish maybe?" i answered him back with a question that was supposed to be meant as a statement.

"Alright." He said and walked back to where him and Sam were trying to cook. It was kind of adorable.

About 15 minutes later, Sam and Nate brought out some pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Literally this is all they can fix.

"Thank you babe & Sam." I told both of them. And they both wandered off some where upstairs.

I ate my breakfast which was really delicious and washed the dishes. All the dishes too including the boys' dishes.

I walked upstairs to get ready for the day and heard giggling coming from the girls' room. I walked in there, well peaked out from the door and saw it was James playing with the girls. James honestly was the best brother ever for the girls. I quickly walked out so the girls or James wouldn't see me and I walked into mine and Nate's room.

I walked over to my closet and picked out a simple outfit to wear. Just a white cami, a blue pull over, my black and white nike shorts and my multi-blue colored chacos. I didn't wanna dress up to much because the lake house was like 3 hours away.

I walked into the bathroom and changed into those clothes. I sprayed on some light perfume and some light lotion.

"Hey babe," I looked to my left just as I was brushing my hair "you look fantastic." I blushed at Nate's compliment.

"Thanks. Hey we need to go stock up at the grocery store before we leave tonight. Wanna head and go?" I nodded.

"Let's go lil.ma." I walked in front of him and stopped in front of our dresser and put my ring on.

"So what do we need to get?" I asked Nate as we walked through multiple aisles, not getting anything.

"Towels, plates, & maybe some snacks for tonight." He smiled at me.

"Alright."

As we finished getting the snacks/food for our mini getaway, I asked Nate, "What else do we need?"

"Condoms." He said bluntly.

"What? Again? Did we use them all again?" I questioned him.

"Yeah, we did." Nate said with a laugh.

"Wow, we should probably have a little less sex to save us money." I said back to him. Trying to be as quiet as I can as we walk through the now crowded store.

"Nah, I don't think so." Nate answered me as we made it onto that aisle.

"What, I don't get a say in this?" I said as we stopped in front of the condoms.

"Not as long as I'm buying them." He said, & I could tell he said it with a smirk.

I shook my head as he got a box and we went and paid for everything.
