Savannah's pov

I moved out of Nate's lap and went to sit on the other side of his desk where he was just recently sitting. I brought Kaylan with me while Nate had Mahogany. I sat down in one of the chairs and put my Kaylan in her car seat in front of me, rocking her car seat with my foot. Nate got comfy in his desk and started doing something on his computer. I watched him do his "thing". I have never seen him so dedicated on his work or something else. Well scratch that, I have. With his music and our little family.

I pulled out my phone and took a picture of Nate working at his desk and posted it to instagram with the caption, "Love spending time with you". I posted it and immediately Nate's phone when off and he looked at it. He looked at me and just shook his head and continued back to work. I smiled because knowing him he loves his job and why he does this job.

About 15 minutes later, Nate got up out of his desk and said, "I have to go get something from Sammy. I'll be back in 5 minutes." I nodded. He came over to me and cupped my face and kissed my forehead. I blushed and he went to the door and opened it, heading upstairs to Sammy's room. As soon as Nate shut the door, Mahogany started crying. Typical Mahogany.

I went over to Mahogany's car seat and picked her up and tried to calm her down, which didn't work. She just cried worst. I sat down back in my chair and tried calming her down there. Which didn't work again. I reached in my purse and and grabbed one of her pacifiers and tried giving that to her but she just spat it out. I know what she was wanting.

I continued holding her until Nate came in and saw Mahogany in my arms and as soon as he walked through the door of his room, she peeked over my shoulder and stopped crying. She reached her arms out and Nate came and picked her up and took her back to where he was originally sitting. He sat her down in his lap and held onto her. He started doing something on his computer till she started playing with her hands on his desk. It was kind of cute.

Nate tried getting her to stop but she wouldn't. Nate instead stood her up in his lap and she grabbed his hair and started yanking on it.

"Mahogany, stop pulling on your dad's hair." She didn't listen. Well she is 11 months old, I should've guessed.

Nate pulled her hands away from his hair and said, "You're either gonna stop pulling my hair Mahogany, or your gonna continue pulling my hair and then sit back in your car seat." She stopped and Nate took her off his lap and sat her down on the floor and she started walking around. Nate mumbled a thank god and continued doing something at his desk.

"Nate, do you want us to leave so you can get some work done?" He shook his head. And continued working some more. I could tell he wanted us to leave so I picked up Mahogany's pacifier she spat out and put it in my purse. I picked up Kaylan's carseat with her in it and sat it in one of the chairs Nate had in his desk.

"Where you going lil'ma?" Nate asked me.

"Home." I responded back.

"Babe, please don't go. I don't want you to go home. I love having you and the girls here with me. What could make this better is if James was here."

"Nate, you have to get all this work done. It's your first day back. You need to catch up on everything. I'll come back next monday when you've caught up with a lot of your work babe." I walked over to Nate's side of the desk and picked up Mahogany's car seat. Well tried to. Nate pulled me into his lap and said, "Please don't leave Savannah. I need you please." I contemplated going home or staying with Nate.

"I'll come back tomorrow babe. I'll bring you something to eat if you want." He shook his head.

"No. That's fine. Marshall makes lunch tuesdays and thursdays babe.I'll call you when I leave work to pick up James this afternoon. I'll see you when I get home with James this afternoon." He kind of pushed me off of his lap and slid back into his desk. I picked up Mahogany and walked over to where her car seat was and put her in it. I grabbed my purse and their diaper bag and slung them over my shoulder. I picked up the girls and headed out into the hallway. I closed- slammed Nate's door and walked to the elevator and pressed the lobby button.
