Today was Christmas and I was giving Savannah the other 2 gifts that I got her. I know me and her agree on that we should only give each other 2 gifts a year but I felt like I needed to go over the limit this year.

I woke up making sure not to wake up Savannah. I got up out of the bed and went and got my phone from mine and Savannah's dresser and walked downstairs. As I was walking downstairs, I checked my phone too see if Savannah's dad had texted me. And he did. He said in the texts, "We dropped the car off about 30 minutes ago. Hope we see you for lunch. And i made sure the separate present in her bigger present is fine." I quickly texted him back and said, "i'll make sure we're down there. And thanks for helping me Rodger." He texted back soon and said, "Anything for you. I mean you have been there for Savannah and James for 2 years. 2 years today." "Yeah I know it seems just like yesterday I was meeting her for the first time. But yesterday I was asking her to marry me." "Yeah. Shawn told me before he left that the twins were born on his sister's birthday. And when you get here can you make sure Swazz doesn't hurt Sadie. It's her third boyfriend and I don't wanna see her heartbroken again." "Swazz um loves her sir." "I know. But I gotta go. I'm going to cook breakfast this morning." He read it and didn't answer me.

I walked into the kitchen and pulled out the pancake mix and food coloring. Don't ask why I pulled out the food coloring. It's just a tradition my parents did when me , Kaylan , and Stew were babies. They made the pancake green by food coloring and they cut it into a christmas tree. Then they stopped it. And I missed doing it. I wished the continued but oh well. I'm going to start doing it with my family.

I fixed 15 pancakes and set plates out for everyone. I cut a pancake up for James and put it in a plate. I walked upstairs and woke James up and told him to wake up Mahogany and Cameron, (who were in his room). And he did. I then told him, "Go wake up uncle Sam downstairs. Then come back up to mommy's room and wake her up." He nodded and went downstairs. I went into the twins' room and saw they were awake. At 5:30 in the morning. I went over to their cribs and saw they looked at me funny.

I picked one up in each arm and sat down in the chair with them and said, "It's your guys first christmas. And you guys are 3 months and ten days. It just seems like yesterday your mommy told me we were expecting you guys. Actually a year ago yesterday, your mom told me she was pregnant with you two. Well only one of you. Then her and grandma maloley ran off to a doctor once we got back from a vacation and found out we were pregnant with twin daughters. But didn't tell me. Then at y'all's gender reveal party, she surprised me. I was happy." I looked at them and they were like, "What are you saying?" I heard a phone snap and looked up to see it was Savannah and she said, "You like talking to them also even if they don't understand you?" "Yeah. It just soothes me. I don't know if that makes sense. But if i ever got took from them and you and James, I would probably just go on lockdown." (little did he know that was going to happen)

Savannah walked over to me and picked up Mahogany and walked downstairs with her in her arms. I got up and walked downstairs with Kaylan in my arms and saw they every one else was eating breakfast. Including my daughter.

"Looks like no one wanted to wait for me." "Sorry babe, James wanted to eat. And I was hungry. And Sammy, Cameron, Mahogany, and baby Mahogany was too. And I bet baby Kaylan is hungry too." I went to fridge and found a bottle and started feeding it to Kaylan. I burped her and then went into the living room where every one else was. I handed Kaylan to Cameron and went over to the fireplace and picked up everyones stocking and handed it to them. And hopefully James wouldn't wake the twins up with what was in his stocking. I handed James his and then I went and sat beside Savannah and held her hand. Cameron kept looking at Mahogany and she didn't notice. Maybe she did but didn't want anyone to know.
