Nate's pov

It had been 2 weeks since Savannah's crash. She hasn't woke up. They give us the same news every day. She's no better. She's no worse. I've been staying from 8 am to 6pm and taking care of the twins every day. I bring them to the hospital with me some days so they could see their mom. James comes with me when he doesn't have preschool. But today, me, the twins, James, and Savannah's dad were all going to the hospital together. And right now, I was getting the twins dressed. I had already got James ready and he was in his room playing.

I dressed the twins both in a dress. I put Mahogany in a green floral dress. () And I dressed Kaylan in a pink one. () I fixed their diaper bag and brought their diaper bag into the kitchen to fix their bottles and I did. I then walked back upstairs to put the twins in their car seats and picked them up.

"James, come on. We need to head and go see mommy." I heard him come out his room and he followed me downstairs. I walked outside and unlocked the car so James could get in. I watched him buckled up then i put the twins in. I got in the driver's seat and started driving to the hospital.

We had been at the hospital for about 2 hours when the doctor pulled me out into the hallway and there was a police officer.

"Are you Stewart Maloley's older brother?" I was hesitant to answer it and I guess he could tell because he told me, "Your brothers girlfriend and her brother were to cause for all of this. Her brother drove his car into the side of Savannah's car. And Savannah's dad's lawyer is getting on with this right now. He is apparently trying to charge both your brothers girlfriend and her brother. We will keep you posted. And there's something else you need to know. But I think the doctor should be the one to tell you that."

The police officer walked off and the doctor turned to me and said, "Savannah's been on the ventilator too long. She has too wake up by december 1st." "That's 2 days! Please give her at least-" "Nathan, were sorry she can't. She has to wake up in two days." He walked off and I walked back into Savannah's room. I told Rodger the news and he was upset.

It came lunch time and Rodger went to get our lunch. Our normal lunch. Taco bell. While I fed the twins. And James watched the tv in Savannah's room. After eating lunch, Savannah's dad left and went home for a while. James fell asleep in a chair and I was sitting beside Savannah holding her hand.

I started talking to her because the nurses said it was best for you to talk to your family in a coma. "The twins are the most energetic two month olds ever. Please wake up before their three month birthday. James misses you. We all do. Our house isn't the same." I picked up her hand to admire the ring that didn't fall off. The ring that I gave her almost a year ago."

At 6 her dad came back and let me go home. And this repeated till December 1st when I got a call at three am.
