Savannah's pov

I was pulled out of my thoughts when the doorbell rang. No one was supposed to come over today. Not even Hailey. She was supposed to be at college or something today. I got up off the couch and walked too the door.

"Who is it?" I asked. No answer. I swear if it is one of those freaking ding dong ditchers.

I walked quietly too the door, keeping an eye on the girls because I had no Idea who could be there outside the door.

I opened the front door and saw someone who I thought I would never see again... Never again in my life....

"Savannah you look so beautiful." She said in a sly voice.

"Why are you here? You know my askings of you. You knew that I didn't want you here unless you were asked here. Or there was a scheduled time." I said getting angry.

"Well I hadn't heard from you in a while and was wondering were you alright. And the girls and James, Savannah. I wanted to see how you were doing!" Elena said back to me.

"Well after dropping off the face of the earth for 5 years, then just coming back. Then lying to me about who you were in the doctors office that day i was with the twins! That's messed up." I said back to her.

"I wanted to see how Nate was doing too. I heard he got in a wreck a few weeks ago." She just changed the damn subject.

"You don't get to waltz into my life after five years of not being in it. James knows I'm not his birthmom and knows Nate is not his dad. But we have took good care of James these past 3 years together. He doesn't deserve some one to come back into their life five years later! And I told you, once the time was right, I'd make arrangements for you too meet James and the girls. If it's alright with Nate, but for now I think you need to leave to Nate and I figure all this out."

"Fine, but just know, you are not the daughter I raised! Nate has you controlled, I taught you never to let a boy control you!"

"YOU DIDN"T RAISE ME FOR THE MOST IMPORTANT YEARS OF MY LIFE I DID IT ON MY OWN! AND NATE IS NOT CONTROLLING ME. I'M DOING THIS FOR MY OWN GOOD" I yelled back to her. "Can you just get out of here before I call Nate to come get you off of the property."

She turned away and walked back to her car. I walked back into the house and slammed the door on accident, startling the twins. I locked the door and made sure all the other doors were locked and went back into the living room and just sat down on the couch.

"Lil'mama i'm home. With James. And we got taco bell. And the stuff you texted me to buy." I came out from the laundry room and saw they had everything.

"Thanks." I said in a small voice as I walked into the kitchen where Nate was at.

"What's wrong?" Nate asked me as I sat down at the dinner table.

"Nothing. I just don't feel well." I responded to him as he brought me my food.

"Alright, whatever you say." He knew I was lying. He knows when I'm lying and I know when he's lying. It's kind of weird.

"How was your day?" He asked as he sat down in the living room. He's being distant now since he knows I lied.

"Good i guess. At least I got some housework done. And I played with the twins some. They've been good. Except Mahogany was moody at first when you left." I smiled even though he couldn't see my smile.

"Oh."

As I was finishing my supper, Nate stood up and said, "Imma go get the twins & James to sleep and take a shower. I'll meet you in bed." Oy now he was upset with me.

"K." I knew he hates this but I know he hates my lies.

When I got upstairs, Nate was still in the shower.I quickly changed into my pj's and quietly went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I walked back out and sat on the edge of my bed.

Soon after Nate came out and saw me sitting on the edge, biting my finger nails. A nervous habit I have.

"Nate, babe, I'm so sorry." I said as he walked back almost bout to cry.

"Savannah, what the hell do you have to apologize for?" He said as he sat down beside me and looked me in the eyes.

"I lied about what happened today. I'm so sorry." I said crying.

"What happened, lil'mama? Tell me. I won't get mad at you if it's really bad. I wouldn't say anything bad if i was in front of our three kids too."

"Elena came to see me about an hour after you left. She just came unexpectedly and wanted too see all of us. Including the gir-"

"Did you let her see them?" I shook my head no.

"Why didn't you call me! I could've came as soon I could! I'd be there instantly. What else did she say?"

I told him the rest of what happened.

"I should've stayed home. I wish I could've because she wouldn't step foot on our homes grounds anymore. She won't come back to this ho-"

"Stop! Just please hold me." He stopped and looked me in the eyes. He pulled me onto his lap and wrapped his arms securely around my waist. I started crying into his bear chest which I didn't mean to.

About 15 minutes later, I stopped crying.

"Hey, let's go to bed Sav. We'll get everything sorted out tomorrow. I'll figure something out. Get comfy in bed. Imma go make sure the lights and locks are locked. Be right back babe.." He kissed my cheek and went downstairs.

I pulled back the covers and climbed into bed. And before I knew it, and before Nate was back, I was hard fast asleep.

Sucky ass chapter. But ya know, better one soon. So yeah. Also i went to digitour 3 days ago. So should i make a like new book on my experiences and all? mixed with like a rant book? like y'all give me ideas to rant about or ideas to share my experiences on. so, yeah. comment if i should.
