"You actually like this sh*t?!" Zaiden asks bewildered as the opening credits start rolling.

"Well its better than that other sh*t! Like, I don't know, the top shelf!"

His gaze turns to that very shelf before he turns beet red. "You think I actually watch that?! You think I'm that hormonal?!"

I shrug. "You're a pubecent teen, of course you would."

He pinches the bridge of his nose and groans. "You and your big words will be the death of me."

I laugh. "Can we just watch the movie? I quite like it." I pout hoping that will make him cave.

"Fine. But you can't sit on the couch like that." I take my feet of the couch as he says this. "No, I mean come here."

He grabs my waist and pulls me closer towards him.

My back now resting on the chest, I reach for the remote and start playing the movie.

When the movie ends its hard to read Zaiden's expression. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, its fine." He shakes his head as if trying to shake away any bad thoughts.

"Zaiden, I'm your mate, tell me right now or you'll be sleeping on the couch." I threaten.

"You want to know? That horse looks like Kat."

Cha-ching!

'What?'

He's right on the money. And it means he loves us. Well me.

'.... right....'

"Spirit? Really?" He nods.

"He looks so much like her."

"Oh." He hugs me tighter and buries his head in my hair. "Are you sniffing me?"

He sighs contently. "Maybe."

"It was a yes or no question."

I hear him inhale deeply. "So what if I am?"

"Well, it is kinda what pedofiles do..."

"But pedos do it because they're creepy."

"And you're not?"

"No, I'm not doing it because I'm creepy."

"Then why are you doing it?"

"Because it turns me on." I stiffen.

'Did he just say that?'

His scent turns me on too.

'Kat! You're just as bad!'

"It what?"

"You heard me, kitten."

Simple nickname, so much more meaning.

"I think I did, but I just want to test if I'm going deaf or not, so humor me."

He chuckles his deep throaty chuckle. "Alright kitten, it turns me on." His hands grip tighter on my hips. "Are you going deaf?"
