Paige POV

Hey babe.

Love you.

Who was that? Dylan has a girlfriend? I've been sitting with him in class for about two months now and i don't even know he has a girlfriend?

We had so much fun laughing and that call, just ended every moment we had. Why must that call ruined the moment?

I can't forget the way he embraced me. The way he comforted me when im in desperate need. They way he tickled me. I started to feel...something. Am i having a déjà vu? I don't understand what is going on. I am so fortunate that Dylan came into rescue. The thing is, im still wondering why is he there in the first place.

Anyway, who is that on the other line? Must be his sister. But, does he even have a sister? Or is it his girlfriend? He was so lovey dovey on the phone though. Urrrgghhhh!!! What am i thinking? Why would i care? Am i... Wait, cannot be. No, no, no.

After handing up my 10 sets of maths work to Mr IDK, i rushed out of the detention room. I felt like Dylan needed privacy. The real fact is, i was at the door, eavesdropping.

About my 10 sets of math work, i still feel guilty that Dylan completed it. He is too kind. I can't take his kindness as an advantage.

I didn't realized that I've been talking to myself while walking back home. No wonder people giving me weird looks everywhere i go. How embarrassing!

"No! No! Don't touch me! Please, please go away!" I screamed my lungs out.

"Paige, Paige, Paige. Tsk tsk tsk. Nobody is here to help you. Boohoo." The man is really freaking me out. I can't even see his face. Where am i? Why is it so dark?

"Let me gooooooo!!" I screamed again. I tried wiggling out from this chair that has been tied to my hands and my legs. It makes no use.

"Paige, Paige, PAIGE!! WAKE UP!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" I opened my eyes to see my mum's panicked face. I looked around me. It is only my mum in here, in my bedroom.

"Mum," I hugged her tightly, sobbing into her chest.

"Shhh... It's just a nightmare." My mum convinced me while rocking me back and forth.

"Honey, your body is so warm." My mum touched my forehead.

"You're having a fever." Mum went to my drawer and took a thermometer out. She then, placed it into my mouth.

Beep beep beep.

"38°C"

"You will not go to school today, understand? I will take you to a clinic."

"Mum, it's okay. You don't have to. I'll just rest at home. I'll be fine. I promised."

"But your temperature is high."

"Mum don't worry."

"You sure you will be okay? What happened, Paige? Anything happened at school?" Mum sensing there's something not right with me.

I shook my head. I lie down on my bed. I guess i had a trauma from the bullying. My mum blanketed me and kissed me on the forehead.

"Rest well, honey. I will make a porridge for you. Please come down and eat if you're feeling better. I will be out and be home late today. Dad too. Don't wait up okay?" With that she left.

I was so scared to close my eyes again to sleep. I don't want those nightmare haunting me again. I rolled over my left and blinked a few times. Then rolled back to my right. I gave up. I reached my headphone and my phone on the drawer. I put the headphone over my ear and start playing Hymn for the weekend by Coldplay on full blasts. Before i knew it, i was already drifting off to sleep.
