Paige POV

Final examination starts today. I am more than prepared to take this exam. I've been studying every subjects with Dylan's help everyday including weekends. It's either i go to his house or he will come over to mine. The math revision booklet, I've completed every questions in there and even revised through all of it twice. Biology, i have memorized every definitions in the textbook. Other subjects, i did lots of readings, notes, questions, basically everything, so that i won't forget easily. I'm pretty confident for finals this time round. Here we go. Honestly, i can't wait for finals to end already!

I was so glad, fortunate even, that all the questions that came out for finals were so familiar. Everything that i studied or memorized, literally came out. Well, they say, don't be so over-confident.

Just as finals ended, i searched for Dylan. I had to thank him a million times for his effort. Yeah, his effort really paid off. His advice? Really worth it. You love biology right? Why not, you see math like they way you see in biology. Treat math like biology. Love math like biology. See if it helps you. Okay, Paige? I know you will thank me later.
Yes, i do love math now more than i love biology.

"Dylan! Where have you been? I've search high and low for you!" I exaggerated. The fact is, just as i came out from the examination hall, i saw him and straight away run towards him. That explained why im panting now.

"Not going anywhere. I've been here all day long. Why, Paige? Miss me already?" He lips curled up sideway.

I rolled my eyes at his cockiness. "In your dreams."

I pulled him next to me and start to walk out of school side by side.

"Anyway, how's finals? Have confident to get straight As?" Dylan asked raising his eyebrows.

"Oh yes! That's why i came to find you. To thank you actually. For helping me all this while. You're an excellent certified tuition teacher. My finals are pretty okay. What's done is done. We'll just have to wait for results. Thank you so so so much, Dylan." I can't seems to thank him enough.

"I thought so. Remember i told you one time that you will thank me later? Ah... See, I'm right. Always have been. " He said too proud.

I scoffed. "Quit feeling proud. Yeah yeah, you win this time okay?"

"Yay! I win, you lose." He is acting all out in a childish way. I find it too cute. Adorable!

"Yes, i win, you lose." I repeat after him.

"No, no. I win, you lose." He said each word carefully.

"Whatever, Dylan. So childish!" I bit his arms playfully.

From the corner of my eyes, i saw a figure standing behind the tree which is located opposite of where im standing. That figure really distracted me. I had to squint my eyes to see whats that or rather who is that.

Robert.

And Kate.

Staring at me.

I froze. I rubbed my eyes harder to make sure i see them correctly. Yes, indeed. Robert and Kate behind that huge tree and they are staring at me. I can feel their burning gaze on me now.

"Paige, are you okay? You look like you saw a ghost." Dylan nudged me.

"Paige." Dylan shook my body.

"Yeah. Let's go home. Can you...walk home with me? I don't feel good." I can hear the shakiness of my voice.

"Are you sure you okay,Paige? You look so pale out of the blue. What happened? Tell me please." Dylan begged.
