Paige POV
Oh Gosh, Dylan! Stop doing that! Urrrgghhh!! The urge to rip that eyeball off is so tempting.
You love biology right? Why not, you see math like they way you see in biology. Treat math like biology. Love math like biology. See if it helps you. Okay, Paige? I know you will thank me later.
How can i possibly love math like the way i love biology? It's a whole different subject, for goodness sake! Thank you later? Oh please, in your dreams, Dylan.
Aside from all that, i am still so thankful when i saw Dylan in detention room. I was so paranoid of being alone in the detention room with Joshua and his friends and that is why I've been hiding myself in the toilet for half an hour.
I looked over on Dylan's table to see a novel. I grabbed it and read the title.
"The fault in our stars? Really?" I raised my eyebrows. I didn't know Dylan read these kind of books.
"Give me back, Paige." Dylan demand.
"Na-uh" I hide the book behind my back.
"Paige, i swear if you don't give me back..."
"I don't care." I teased him. He is already reaching out his hand to reach his book behind my back. I moved slightly away from from.
"Paige, please give me back." Awww is he shy because i found out he read this book?
"No." I said firmly while smiling.
Before i knew it, Dylan is already tickling me at the sides of my stomach.
"St...stop Dy...lan!" I begged between laughter. I can't take it no more.
"Give me back my book, Paige." He stopped and demand. I reached out to give him but instead, i stood up and ran at the corner of the room, avoiding him, still having his book with me.
"Oh Paige. You wanna play rough?" He smirk while striding his way towards me. Oh no, i have no where to go. Shoot!
Dylan is now standing in front of me. "I said for one last time, Paige. Give me back my book." He said each word with emphasis.
"Or what?" I challenged him.
Next thing i know is, im on the floor laughing out loud, with Dylan on top of me tickling the sides of my belly.
"Okay...okay! Take it! N..now st..op Dylan!" Dylan took his book from my grip while I catch my breath. Dylan looked at me satisfied. I looked back at him, into his hazelnut eyes. We have been in this position for an eternity before someone clears his throat.
"Is everything alright?" Mr IDK walked over to us with his sleepy eyes.
"Yeah, Mr Albert." Dylan said smiling at me, without looking back at Mr IDK– Mr Albert. So, that's his name.
"Good." Mr Albert now went back to his seat.
I have never ever laugh so hard in my life. This is the second time Dylan make me laugh so hard. Oh, Dylan, what have you done to me?
"It's your fault." I accused Dylan.
"Excuse me? It's your fault." Dylan is now standing up reaching out his hand to help me get up. I gladly took it.
"Your fault."
"You want me to tickle you again?" I shook my head vigorously.
"Good. It's your fault. You started it first." We walked back to our seats.
"It's the fault in our stars." I raised my right eyebrow and looked over at Dylan who is already turning red.
"Yeah, yeah. You win. Happy?" He finally give in.
"Absolutely." I replied with a wide smile.

The next day
"Alright class. We have a surprise quiz today! I believe you guys have been studying and i expect to get 100% passes. There's no need to separate your tables as this quiz will only take 15 minutes. It's on geometry and trigonometry." Oh great! A surprise quiz? To be completed in 15 minutes? How is that even possible?
I'm still stuck at question 1. What is the formula to find the length of AB ? Shoot! I skipped. What on earth is that? Sin π, cos π, tan π? Skipped. What? 3 questions only? 25 marks? I glanced at my wrist watch. 10 minutes left. I tapped my pen continuously on the table. I looked around. Some are already putting their head on the table. They have completed already? In 5 minutes? How is that even possible? I looked at Dylan who has already zipped up his pencil case.
I mouthed to him. Help me.
He just smiled and slide his paper to my desk. I glanced at Ms Jenny. She is busy marking some papers on her desk. Phew.
I took this opportunity to scribble every answers on my paper, with the help of Dylan's paper, of course. After I'm done, i slide his paper back to him and mouthed thank you. He just nodded his head.
After class has ended, i rushed over to Dylan who is already making his way out of the classroom.
"You're a life saver, Dylan! Thanks!" With that, i left him.
I was heading to the cafeteria when i accidentally bumped onto someone. Scratch that. Someone bumped onto me. I looked up to see the last person i wanted to see.
