Hayes POV

"Hey. Where have yall been?"

"Celebrating Kayla's birthday."

"Why didn't I get invited?"

"Well we all sort of just threw it together, we didn't even have a cake. Then Cameron text us and told us about the fight, so we didn't say anything because we didn't want to ruin Kayla's birthday." I feel angry but I don't want them to know that.

I decide to text Kayla.

H- Hey sweetie, I just wanted to say I'm so sorry about the fight earlier. I just felt jealous when I saw yall together.

K- Hayes its fine. At least no one was badly hurt.

H- True. I just didn't want your birthday to be ruined. Btw happy birthday.

K- Thanks. How could it be ruined when I got the best present ever?

H- What did you get?

K- Cameron. He asked me to be his girlfriend!

H- Oh. Well I hope your birthday is the best!

K- Thanks see you later.    I don't even answer. I run upstairs and ask Nash if its true. "Nash, did Cam really ask Kayla out?"

"Yea. How did you find out?"

"Kayla text me. Did Matt approve?"

"Yea he seemed okay with it." I'm shocked, and pretty mad. I walk down the hall to Cameron's room. I hear giggles that sound like him and a girl. I walk in and see Cameron on facetime with Kayla. "Hey Hayes. Can I help you?"

"Yea you can help me by leaving my girlfriend alone."

"She's not your girlfriend. She is MY girlfriend!" I feel my face get hot. I walk over to Cameron and feel like I'm going to punch him but I don't. Once I get to him I just stand there. I feel a hand on my back and instantly know its Carter. "Hayes leave Cameron and Kayla alone!" Wow now my friends are turning against me. "You know what I will. Im done. I could care a less about yall!" I lie so bad. I feel a tear well up in my eye and turn to run to my bedroom.

Cameron POV

"Hayes gets on my nerves!"

"Mine too. Why cant he just except the fact that he broke up with you, and I made the move."

"I have no clue. I want to just curl up in bed and sleep!" She giggles and so do I. "Cam I have to go, Haley is spending the night and Im so sleepy!"

"Ok gorgeous, I love you!" I blow a kiss through the phone.

"Love you too babe! Sweet dreams!"

"They will be about you, so they will definiatley be sweet!" She blushes and hangs up. I finally relax and lay down. I cant believe Matt trusts me but not Hayes. Im not complaining but I don't understand the difference. I mean one- I am 4-5 years older than Kayla and two- Hayes is the same age as Kayla. I guess Matt just trusts me a lot more.

Kayla POV

I just got off facetime with Cam. Guess what! Matt excepts us unlike he did with me and Hayes! That just makes Hayes a lot more jealous though. "Kayla I cant believe you and Cam are together! And that Matt approves!"

"Me either!" We continue to talk until we fall asleep.
