Taylor POV
We decided to take a plane from California to Nashville. As of now we have 2 hours until we land. We have been on the plane for about 3 hours. Kayla is quietly snoozing on my arm and Matt is texting his girlfriend. "What time is it?" I quietly ask so I don't wake Kayla or anyone else.
"8 am" I nod and look at Kayla. I love this girl with all my heart and have no idea where I'd be without her. She begins to lift her head and sees me smiling at her. She smiles again and gives me a short sweet kiss on the cheek. I smile and turn back to Matt who is starting to doze off. Kayla sees him and smiles. He has his head bent over and about to start drooling.
Cameron POV *2 weeks later*
"What are we missing for the party?"
"I've got drinks, plates, and forks."
"The only thing missing is the cake." I nod and walk to find my phone to call in the cake. I place the order on the cake and walk to the door to get fresh air. I really have no idea why I'm doing this for my ex. I'm just keeping it in my mind that it's for my buddy not Kayla. As I start to be pulled from deep thought I see the Devil coming. God I dumped her 2 days ago. Then I notice who's in the front seat!
McKenna POV
Cameron looks like a deer in headlights. But wait until he gets it!
Carter POV
As I finish hanging the final banner I here a loud noise followed by a scream. I run out the door to find Cameron laying on the ground with blood everywhere. Then I see him and her! "AARON COME AND HURRY!!!" I yell loud and scared. He comes running out and stops in his tracks. He begins to gag and runs inside to get Hayes. Hayes runs out and pulls his phone out calling 911. I could see the fear on his face and I could also see Cam wasn't doing good at all! "Cameron stay with me. You got shot but you'll be ok. I promise!" He sort of nods then looks into space.
"If I die, please tell Kayla I still love her." I nod and begin to cry.
"Sure will buddy. But you aren't going to die so we don't need to worry about that." He nods and tries to look up but begins coughing because it hurts to bad. I try to find where the bullet hole is but I can't find it because there is so much blood.
Hayes POV
"The ambulance just arrived." Carter nods and tries to move away.
"Carter please stay with me. You're my closest friend and I want you there when I die." I cry harder and so does Carter. Why would he plan his death like this? I ask myself over and over again.
