Cameron POV
I nod to let Haley know I'm ready. "So Kayla when do y'all get out off school?"
"May 20th." I got out of the chair and get in my position. She finally realizes Haley staring at me. "Oh my God Cam!"
"Kayla will you marry me?"
"Cameron I love you with all my heart, but I still love Hayes, and I can't do that to you."
"So you're saying no?!?!"
"Yes Cam. I love you but I can't do that to you. I'm so sorry!" I feel like I've been shot in the stomach. I get up and run to the bathroom. I hear my name being called by everyone and I fall to my knees in the floor. Finally Matt, Aaron, Carter, Nash, and Daniel catch up with me. "Man I'm so sorry!"
"It's fine Matt. I'm glad she was honest." I stand up and walk out the door.
Kayla POV
I feel so bad. I want to run after him but I can't move. "Kayla I can't believe you did that to him!" Matt yells as he runs off. I fall to my knees and cry. Haley walks over to me and picks me. "Why did you do that? You know he has a girlfriend and Cam loves you!"
"Haley I just didn't want Cam to feel unloved. So I said no because I still kinda love Hayes." She nods and walks off. I sit there in the chair alone.
Hayes POV
I get a text from Nash. When I read the text I almost faint.
N- hey bro. I just want you to know Cam proposed and she said no because she is still in love with you!
H- What?!?!!
N- Yea btw if u plan on getting her back break up with that chick.
H- I don't have to she did while I was in Bass Pro earlier.
N- Good I hated her anyways.  I laugh and lock my phone. I'm not going to ask Kayla for a while I'm not even going to tell her I'm single again.
