Cameron POV
"Babe I'm home!" I yell up the stairs. In a few seconds Kayla comes running down the stairs with tears in her eyes. "Oh my God! Babe what's wrong?" I ask dropping everything I brought in.
"I saw Hayes with some chick today. Haley said they have been together for 3 months!"
"Why are you worrying about them?"
"I have no clue it just hurts!" I can tell she's hurting and I just made it worse. I pull her into a big hug.
"Let's just focus on us." I think I know the perfect time to ask her now. "Look tonight me, you, Haley, Daniel, Matt, and the rest of the guys, not Hayes, we are all going out to eat." I can tell she is smiling as she says,
"That sounds nice. Have you asked them yet?"
"No. I will send out a group text." Kayla nods.
Kayla POV
I run upstairs to wake Haley up from a nap. "Sis wake up!"
"I'm awake. I'm just on my phone."
"Wanna go out with everyone tonight?"
"Yea. I got Cam's text. I told him I would be there." I nod.
"I'm still kind of heart broken. I just have no idea why!" Haley sits up and hugs me.
"He's just trying to make you jealous. Be happy for the life you and Cam have now." I nod.
"I'm going to get ready. Love you and I'll see you in a hour."
"Love you too!" I walk to my bedroom and pick out an outfit. When I walk out I see Cam on his phone. "Hey babe!"
"Hey!" Cam looks nervously at me and shuts his phone off quick. I think he's hiding something. It makes me want to punch him and take his phone. I keep it to myself though. In a few seconds his phone goes off again. He just turns it off without looking at it.
We are finally at the restaurant. Cam's phone finally stopped ringing. "I need to go to the bathroom." I get up and walk off.
Cam POV
"Ok so here's the plan. Haley you start a conversation with Kayla and in the meantime I will pull the ring out and get on one knee. Y'all all will just look at me in shock. We will see how long it takes her to realize y'all are staring at me. Then I will ask her!" They all nod. I see Kayla walking back and my palms begin to sweat.
