Matt POV
"Family of Cameron Dallas?" We all get up and walk over to the lady. "Well Cameron is in critical condition and we aren't sure if he's going to make it." The words sting me and I see Kayla run out. I run behind her yelling her name. She doesn't stop and Taylor follows a few feet away. Taylor runs faster and he catches up to her.
Taylor POV
I basically tackle Kayla. She falls to the ground and looks up at me like she can see right through me.
"I can't believe this has happened!" I pick her up and dust her off.
"I know baby. It's bad but we have to keep the faith." She nods and hugs me tightly. "I love you with all my heart baby girl!"
"I love you more!"
"That's not possible." She giggles and we walk back inside the hospital hand in hand.
"I'm happy you caught her!" Matt says. We sit down and begin talking but avoid the subject of Cameron in bad condition. We take turns walking back. They let us go 2 at a time. Me and Kayla walked together.
"I'm kind of scared to see him." I wrap my arm around her.
"I'll be here for you!" She kisses my cheek and we enter the room.
Kayla POV
As Taylor and I walk in I feel tears steam down my face. Taylor squeezes my arm and I sit in a chair on one side of Cam and Taylor sits on the other side. I hold Cam's hand and begin talking.
"Cameron I'm so sorry this has happened to you. I wish I could switch places with you but i can't and I'm sorry. Please don't leave us please stay and be uncle Cameron to my kids. Please Cam. Please." I stand and kiss his forehead. His fingers tighten on my hand.
"Taylor he just squeezed my hand!"
"He can't do that. It's your imagination." I don't argue but I know he did and I believe he was telling me he wasn't leaving us. A few minutes later the nurse comes to tell us we have to go.
"Bye Cameron I'll see you tomorrow. Love you!" I kiss his forehead and walk out. I can't imagine life without him being there. I need him to be uncle Cam to my kids. He can't leave this way. I won't allow him to!
