Kayla POV
After the fight I went up to my room to shower. Thank God that she left. I hope and pray she doesn't come back! Tonight me and Taylor are going out. He said we were going with Haley and Daniel. I get my clothes and go shower. I hear a knock at the door to my bathroom.
"Kayla, it's Taylor. I need to grab my bandana. Can I?"
"Uh yea. Hurry though." The door opens then quickly shuts.
"Thank you."
"Your welcome." I turn the water off when I get done. I jump out and grab my towel. I decide to get ready in my bathroom because I still hear Taylor in my room. When I get done I brush my teeth, brush my hair, and walk out of the bathroom. I see Taylor sitting on my bed and playing his phone.
"Hey beautiful. Wanna go get lunch?"
"Sure. Let me pull my hair up." He nods and stands up.
"I'm going to go put my shoes on." I nod and walk to Haleys room.
"Hey Haley. Do you still have my straightener?"
"Yea. It's in my bathroom." I nod and go grab it.
"Thank ya. What time are we double dating?"
"I don't know. Taylor and Daniel are still descussing it." I nod and walk out. Guess what! My 17th birthday is exactly a month away! I'm so excited. But who's counting? When I get done with my hair I slip my shoes on. I walk downstairs and yell to Taylor.
"Tay you ready?"
"Yeap! Les go!" I giggle and walk to the car.
"Who's driving?"
"I don't care. Do you want to?" I nod and jump in my truck. Taylor grabs the aux cord and plays his music. He rolls his window down and hangs out my truck.
"Taylor chill." I giggle and he says no. I roll my eyes and focus on the road. Taylor finally sits down and grabs my hand.
"Where we eating?"
"How about Buffalo Wild Wings?" I nod and get in the left lane. When we arrive at the restaurant I turn the truck off and jump out.
"Can you grab my purse? It's on your side."
"Sure." He opens his door and grabs my purse. We meet up at the back of the truck. He hands me my purse and grabs my hand.
"How many?"
"2." Taylor answers holding up 2 fingers.
"Right this way." We follow the lady and sit down. We order our drinks and food. I look over at Taylor and he smiles. I lean over and lay my head on his shoulder. He strokes my hair with one hand and plays with my fingers with the other. When our food gets here we eat and talk very little.
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Sure."
"Well um, will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes!" He smiles and kisses my cheek.
Taylor POV
Well I just asked Kayla to be my girlfriend. And she said yes! I'm so happy! I have been scared to ask her for a while now. Because she just got out of an engagement but I'm on cloud nine! We leave Buffalo Wild Wings and go to the truck. "Where we going now?"
"How about go karts?"
"Sounds like a plan." I smile and play my music again. She sits in her seat and sings. I unplug my phone and plug hers in.
"I have a surprise." I say smiling. I play her favorite. I Mean You by Hunter Hayes. She smiles and begins to sing again.
