Cameron POV
Well Kayla and I have been together for 6 months now. I'm thinking about proposal but she is 16 almost 17 and I am 20. That isn't that much difference I just want to think about her still being in school. She is in the 11th grade and almost completely done with school. Kayla and Matt moved in with us about 3 months ago. Right now only Matt and I are home. I think now would be a good time to ask him if I can marry her. "Yo Matt. Can I talk to you?" I yell up the stairs.
"Sure bro. Be down in a sec." I sit on the couch and think about what I will say. Finally Matt walks down the stairs I let out a deep breath. "What's up?"
"Well I've been thinking about proposing for a while now. And I just wanted to know if you would care if I ask her when the time is right?"
"I wouldn't care at all! Just promise me you will NEVER hurt my sister like Hayes did."
"I promise." Matt nods and walks upstairs. I can't believe he said yes! I'm happy.
Kayla POV
"What shop do you want to go in?"
"How about Bass Pro?" I nod. When we walk inside I see someone I try so hard to avoid.
Haley POV
"Kayla what's wrong?"
"Nothing it's just nothing."
"What's wrong? Tell me!"
"Hayes. He is with some blonde!"
"Oh Kayla I'm so sorry. We have tried so hard to keep both of them away from you."
"You've known they were together?"
"Yep. They got together when y'all moved in!" I can tell she is hurt.
"Can we just go home? I want to see Cam. I haven't talked to him all day." I nod. We walk to Kayla's parked truck and get in.
When we get home I unlock the door. Kayla runs upstairs to Cameron's room. A few minutes later she runs back down.
"He isn't here." I can tell she is hurt and needs him.
Kayla POV
I decide to call Cam.
"Hey babe."
"Hey. Where you at?"
"Um...I...I'm at McDonald's. You want anything to eat?"
"No I'm good. When do you think you will be home?"
"In about 30 minutes."
"Ok. Love you babe."
"Love you too!" I hang up the phone and lay on the couch.
Cameron POV
I feel bad that I had to lie to Kayla. I just didn't want her to suspect that I am buying a ring to propose with. Hopefully I find a good time and way to ask her!
