Hospitals are horrifying, but they save your life. If you think you cannot pull yourself out right now, here's somethings to expect in a hospital.

•Feeding tubes:
If you do not eat your meals, and don't gain enough weight, you will be tubed. Feeding tubes are a tube that is inserted through your nose, and down your throat. They hook you up to a bag of "food". It is a serum with many calories and nutrients that drip in the back of your throat. The tube is not I started while asleep, it is done while awake because it is simple, but emotionally painful. It can be removed, but while on a tube, you have someone by your side at all times.

•exercise
You do typically get some sort of physical activity while inpatient, but very minimal. It is typically yoga, walking, or stretching. If you are caught exercising at any times not designated, you will lose privileges such as computer, exercise and phone

•people
While hospitalization generally sucks, for lack of a better word, the people you meet there will be wonderful. They understand what you're going through, and they will motivate you when you can't do it yourself. You'll find yourself wanting the best for them, and hopefully realize they want that for you. I still talk to my "hospital family" they were all my brothers and sisters. I'm in touch most with my "big sister" and she's come so far and helping so many people. The people you meet along the way make it so worthwhile
