ACT 1 SCENE 2

Date: May 31, 2016 

The ladies all watched in confusion as the vans drove away, leaving them in front of a regular house.

Rae: This is no mansion.

Kitty: Is this some joke or what?

Hoodie: Maybe this is one of the surprises they kept talking about.

Dawn: I don't like this surprise.

Hoodie: Me neither.

Alice: This is not what I envisioned.

Hime: This is a mansion compare to some of the places I have been. Let's go in.

Mochi led the way as they all followed.

Brownie: I was hoping the inside would look like a mansion. However, this is what we have and we will make the best of it.

There were three bedrooms a kitchen, a living room, a dining room, two bathrooms and a backyard. The house was a very ordinary one.

Dawn: Three bedrooms ten people, how are we gonna share? Btw, I need to be in the bedroom closest to the bathroom.

Kitty: Why? You still wet the bed? Need to know cause I wanna share a room with you.

Everyone laughed. Dawn scowled at the maknae, what in the world was wrong with this girl?

Dawn: If that's how your brain functions, then you and I are gonna have a problem.

Kitty: What? I meant that in the nicest possible way.

Dawn: So do I.

Brownie: Let's play gawi, bawi, bo (rock, paper, scissors) to decide who shares a room.

Choco: I can't sleep with the lights off.

Brownie: I'm afraid of the dark too.

Rae: Me too.

So it was decided, Brownie, Choco and Rae share a room; Dawn, Kitty, Mochi and Hoodie took the room closest to the bathrooms and Love, Hime and Alice got the other room.

Everyone tried settling in. Kitty fell asleep behind one of the couches while Mochi made her way to the kitchen to see what was available so she could make dinner with Rae and Brownie joining her to assist. Hime put on some headsets and sat on one of the sofas reading Gifted Hands. Alice, Love and Hoodie decided to check the backyard where they found a flower garden and spent the rest of the evening enjoying nature. Dawn found a quiet spot in the yard, writing in her journal as she watched the sunset. Dusk was her saddest yet favourite time of the day.

Dinner was finally ready and everyone gathered in the dining room. The scrumptious feast before their eyes, made their mouths water even more and they all dived in and ate the delicious dishes with Love and Kitty eating the most.
