Scene requested by MarkRaeHyunJin
Rae (to herself): At least they have a kdrama channel. Like seriously what do these people take us for? No internet, now limited channels.
Rae intently watched the female character. The scene was about the male lead finally coming over to the lead female's house a week after they had quarreled. They had both missed each other and were pouring out their hearts.
Rae(disappointed): Seriously? Who gave this girl the lead role? She sucks at showing the right emotions.
Rae watched as the lead male hugged his girlfriend and stared intensely at her.
Rae (to herself): I sense a kiss. (the main male lead moved in closely) The guy is doing great, letting tension to build. Come on lady, don't disappoint me now.
The guy slowly lifted her chin so that they stared directly at each other. He then bends over and they slowly kissed.
Rae (rustling in her seat): What is wrong with this girl? That was a potential passionate kiss and she ruined the emotions again!
Right then the channel changed to a football channel. Rae thought she might have accidentally pressed the remote. She picked it up and changed back to the kpop channel. The kiss was over and the girl was saying something to the guy, just as she was about to get the gist of what was going on the channel changed again.
Rae: The hell?
She questioned out loud turning around to see what was going on. She then realized Mark was sitting next to her on the sofa. How did she miss him walking in and sitting right next to her?
Rae: Yah! What is wrong with you?
She questioned, switching to the drama channel and placing the remote back in the space between them.
Mark: I'm in the mood for football.
He grabbed the remote and changed the station.
Rae: Who cares what mood you are in? I was here before you!
She grabbed the remote and changed the channel.
Rae: This time I'm holding on to this. (she said pointing to the remote)
Mark: What makes you think you were here before me?
Rae: The fact that I didn't see you walk in and sitting next to me only shows how engrossed I was in the drama; it doesn't mean you are ghost. If you were here I would have seen you besides, the tv was off when I walked in.
Mark (grinning): Maybe I was watching it in ghost mode.
Rae (scoffing): Ghost mode or whatever, go find someplace else. This room is taken by me and if you must stay then kdrama it shall be.
Mark (standing): Jinjja?
Rae(sternly): Ne.
Mark walked out of the room.
Rae (calling after him): Great choice!
Rae resumed watching the drama. She watched as the second lead male role quickly planted a kiss on the lead female character's cheeks after she rejected him when he confessed his love but the main male lead had walked on them and assumed the worst. The girl had gone after her boyfriend and after refusing to talk to her he finally agreed to listen. The moment the she opened her mouth to speak, the channel switched to that darn football match as Mark sat back in his spot from before. This time he had another remote.
Rae: Are you a child or what? You went to get another remote?
Mark ignored her and the war of switching between channels began full force. With no one wanting to back down, it went on for approximately thirty minutes.
Mark: Why are you even fighting me, it didn't look like you were enjoying that drama.
Rae: Says who?
Mark: You were complaining all along.
Rae: That's because, I'm a better actress. It doesn't mean I wasn't enjoying it.
Mark: Then you should just go make your own drama instead of watching others and getting frustrated, Miss Better Actress.
Rae: Fine! You can do whatever you want Mr. Jerk. I have lost interest.
Mark: What a pity, I just lost interest too.
Rae: Let's get something straight, so you lost interest just when I did but if I decide to stay and watch you will suddenly gain interest in that football match?
Mark (assuring nodding): Ne.
Rae glared so hard at Mark, that if she had the power to burn people with her eyes, he would become ashes in a second. She turned on her heels and began walking out of the living room.
Mark (walking after her): Yah! Rae, I think you glared holes into my head. Come back here and fix my head.
Rae ignored him and quickened her steps.
Mark: Ah, why are you mad? That was just for fun.
She stopped in her tracks and turned to face the direction he was in.
Rae (furious): Fun? That's your definition of fun?
Mark (smiling): Yea, I just wanted to get to know you.
Two can play that game she thought.
Rae (mischievously smiling): Oh I see. (extending her hand for a handshake) I'm Park Airae, nice to meet you Mark Yi-En Tuan.
Mark: You know my full name?
Rae: You have no idea what I'm capable of knowing.
She turned and left Mark standing and admiring her back view but little did he know Rae was formulating a plan in her head. One where his idea of fun was going to be used against him.
Later that night
Chanyeol and Sehun were in bed when they heard a faint voice singing in the distance. Sehun, turned so that he was facing Chanyeol.
Sehun: You hear that, don't you?
Chanyeol: I'm not deaf you know.
Sehun: See, I told you. Since we came to this mansion I hear it every night. That's why I was very surprised when you were clueless at the time I talked about it today.
Chanyeol: I don't know what to be afraid of, it's kinda soothing.
Sehun: Soothing? Haven't you heard of the Sirens. They lured sailors with their voices and made their ships wreck.
Chanyeol: This is not a ship.
Sehun: But we are on an island where the ocean is our only neighbour. Next thing you know; in the middle of the night you could be walking into the ocean and get drowned.
Chanyeol: Aish!
Sehun covered his head with the blanket as to block out the sound, then he poked his head out....
Sehun: Hyung, if you drown I'm sorry but remember I warned you and you never took it seriously. Goodnight.
Chanyeol lay in bed listening to the song. He knew there were a lot of singers in the house but the voice belonged to a female and whoever that person was, she had a lovely voice.
