Tuesday, June 21

Candy: Lulu I didn't know you were this much of a chicken. Why won't you tell her?

Luhan: What if she doesn't feel the same way? I don't want to ruin our beautiful friendship that has been forged over the years.

Candy: Can I tell her ?

Luhan: No! Don't go sticking your nose around in people's business.

Candy: I won't have to stick my nose in your business if you would man up and confess already? How long have you been carrying this baggage around? You really want to watch another man snatch her right before your eyes.

Luhan: If another man snatches her, then she wasn't meant for me.

Candy: Nonsense.

Candy placed the cupcakes on the island counter to cool.

Candy: I think Brownie likes you as much as you like her. And if you don't tell her, you will spend the rest of your life wondering what could have happened? In my honest opinion, it's better to tell, and don't worry about the outcome. What happens, happens.

Luhan: I really don't know.

At that moment, Kitty walked into the Kitchen with a cheesy smile on her face. She grabbed an apple sat on the stool beside Luhan. He passed a look at Candy who only shrugged.

Candy: Want a cupcake Kitty?

Kitty: No. I'm watching my weight.

Luhan: Since when? You and Love ate almost everything at lunch.

Since some loser, yet again, called me fat minutes ago, she thought.

Kitty: You know just trying to live healthier like Choco is always encouraging us to do.

When Kitty walked out, Luhan anxiously questioned.

Luhan: Think she heard?

Candy: I hope not or else the entire world will know. She's like the human BBC.

At Suho's house

Chen's mellifluous laughter filled Suho's living room.

Lay: Oh no he didn't.

Xiumin: Poor Lu.

Baekhyun: Luhan you pabo, Kitty isn't the one to be worried about now. You worry about Brownie, her normal life just got ruined. Some fans have no chill.

Kai quietly ate his fried chicken.

Chen: I think Suho-hyung is going to pop a vein.

The rest of Exo were having a sleepover at their leader's home. As they all were viewers of Let's Sail, they had gathered to watch tonight's episode.

Lay: He had the chance to be on the show but refused.

Suho: I needed time off.

Chen: Yea, or you didn't want to be living with your crush.

Baekhyun: Suho hyung, it will really hurt you if Candy come out of that house with a boyfriend, huh?

Suho: Keep talking and you will be sleeping on the lawn tonight.

The Beagle line present broke into a laughing fist.

Chen: His threats are always the best.

Baekhyun: As if you have the heart to do something like that.

Suho: Anybody want more snacks?

Sunggyu and Mochi walked side by side in the gardens. He had asked her to go for a walk with him, what he didn't tell her was that he had a surprise in store.

Mochi: I didn't know this garden was this huge. I have never seen this part of it.

Sunggyu: The best is yet to come.

Mochi smiled.

Mochi: You know what will be even more lovely, having a picnic here with everyone.

Sunggyu: Everyone?

Mochi: Uh huh. The air might help Dawn with her salty personality. I think there's something wrong with her. All the lovebirds in the house will fall even more in love, I mean this scenery is just romantic. The book worms in the house, including myself, could enjoy a quiet evening of reading. The wild ones can play a game of hide and seek.

Sunggyu: Really?

Mochi (excitedly): Yes. What do you think? Plan?

Sunggyu: No.

Mochi: No? Why?

Sunggyu took her hand without responding and began fast walking. Mochi who could barely keep up kept asking. When he didn't reply, she decided to quit asking questions. When Sunggyu slowed his pace, Mochi could barely believe her eyes. Words couldn't exactly describe the landscape she beheld. It was beyond extraordinary.

Sunggyu: This is my special place. Since I found it, I have been secretly slipping here whenever I can find the time.

He explained as they made their way to the  lawn netsed with pillows.

Sunggyu: It's beautiful, isn't it?

Mochi: It's...it's perfect.

Sunggyu: Now, yes. Before it wasn't perfect. Every time I came, something was missing. You know like a little detail that's very significant. At first, I didn't know what. Then yesterday, I finally realised what the missing piece was.

Mochi: Me?

Sunggyu: You.

Mochi: Aw, you are so sweet.

She gently squeezes his cheeks.

Sunngyu: And that's why we are not having a picnic with everyone. If there will ever be a picnic, it will be just us. I can't risk having this perfection ruined. This is an experience that must be felt by my best friend and I only.

Mochi: I understand now.

Sunggyu: But there's another dream that can come true. He pulled out a book from one of the pillows.

Mochi smiled as she settled in. In no time, she was reading a story to her best friend.

Authonim: Best friend my butt *smirks*
