Kitty: Can you please sleep on the floor?

Kookie: Why would I when there's a bed in this room? If you wish you can spend the night on the floor instead.

Without putting up a fight, like she usually does, Kitty got two pillows, a blanket, her iPad and walked out of the room.

Kookie(to himself): What is wrong with her today?

He couldn't believe she wasn't fighting with him when he had been pestering her all day. Earlier this morning he grabbed an apple she was reaching out for and she only reached for another. Later that day he told her that her speaking voice sounded like Minnie Mouse yet again Kitty had ignored him. She had been very quiet all day.

Kitty sat on the couch wearing her beloved Happy onesie watching Sesame Street as she munched on chocolate cookies baked by Brownie and Choco while drinking warm chocolate milk with a spiral straw.

Until today's date Kookie has refused to return her Happy plushie. She had searched their rooms and his belongings time over time but still couldn't find it. She really needed her plushie to cuddle with, the pillow wasn't doing a good job as Happy did. She really wished her mother was here, then she could have cuddled with her.

Kitty (singing along with Cookie Monster from Sesame street): C is for cookie. That's good enough for me......

As she sang, Mingyu and Kookie stood in the archway watching. Kookie had actually left the room in search for her as he was a bit concerned while she was being so passive. But he had run into Mingyu who asked him to play some video games with him. On their way to the movie room they had heard Kitty singing and Mingyu had insisted they check out what she was up to.

Mingyu (smiling): Isn't she adorable?

Kookie only shrugged. Kitty heard their voices but she continued to ignore them as she sang on.

Kitty (singing): C is for cookie. That's good enough for me............

Mingyu made his way over and sat on the arm rest of the couch. Kookie did the same but stood beside Minggyu.

Mingyu: Kitty, you look like a toddler. An adorable one though.

Kitty (let out a half smile): Do you want some cookies?

When Mingyu nodded, she handed him two pieces and went back to singing along with Cookie Monster without bothering to offer Kookie.

Kitty: Oh cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C......

As the boys left her, Kookie felt so guilty because he believed whatever was causing her gloomy mood was related to him. Yes, he enjoys getting on her nerves but that's because she looked super cute when she was mad. Besides he missed sassy Kitty.

A soft knock sounded.

Dawn: Someone's knocking.

Minho who had just got into bed, pulled the covers on his face and groaned.

Minho: That person isn't even knocking like they mean it. Let's ignore it and in no time they will go away.

But the knocking became consistent though it didn't get any louder.

Dawn: Get the door would you?

Minho: Aigoo! Dawn, seriously sharing a room with you doesn't automatically makes me your butler.

Dawn: Your side of the bed is closer to the door that's why I'm asking you to get it.

He gave her a ridiculous look before walking over to see who was there. He sighed the very moment he saw who it was.

Kitty (in a very tender voice): Appa, is eomma asleep?

Minho who picked up on Kitty's sour mood opened the door widely and ushered her in. Dawn sat up in bed immediately when she saw the look on Kitty's face.

Dawn: Baby are you Okay?

Without a word Kitty sat on the bed next to Dawn and wrapped her arms tightly around her. This was what her period did to her, it made her very needy. Her tummy had been on fire all day but at least it was now subsiding. A baffled Dawn, looked at Kitty whose head rested on her chest then at Miho who only shrugged as he sat on the ottoman, curious know what was going on.

Dawn (caressing Kitty's back): Kitty, is everything okay?

Kitty: Can I spend the night with you?

Dawn: Sure.

Minho: No. Kitty, what's wrong with your room?

Kitty: I wanna cuddle with Dawn. Please Appa? I can sleep in the middle.

Minho (without responding): Dawn can we speak outside?

When they were outside, Minho began.....

Minho: Dawn, Kitty has a room why would you permit her to sleep with us?

Dawn: Can't you see that baby needs me? I'm not sure what's exactly wrong but I sense it may be that time of the month.

Minho: You think? (Dawn nodded) Fine, I will sleep with her roommate but don't encourage her if it's about a fight with Kookie. She can't be running away from her problems; she needs to face them. Ok?

Dawn: Sure.

His little advice ran deep into her heart like a double edge sword. Looking on her life now, she had spent almost her entire life running from her problems. Problems she never spoke about, they were all buried deeply within her.

Minho: Are you gonna just stand there when Kitty is desperately in need of you? (He opened the door then turn to face her with so much concern) She's lying the floor now. Just how bad could it be?

Dawn (thinking about how bad her cramps can become due to her being a sickle cell patient): You have no idea.

Minho (with pleading eyes): Please tell me you can help her feel better.

Dawn: It doesn't work that way but I will try my best.

He was surely going to make a good daddy someday. A fine ass daddy for that matter.
