ACT 1 SCENE 9

The same night....

Alice: Crap!

She had forgotten her towel and now she will have to walk back to her room with her swimsuit. She knew the others thought she was strange but she couldn't take the risk of being seen naked on tv. Alice poked her head out to see if the hallway was clear, I mean the ladies knew but she didn't want anyone staring at her like she was an alien or something.

One last look and she crept out of the bathroom but just at that moment the door of the adjacent bathroom flew open and Suga walked out, blocking her path. His eyes widened when he saw her.

So much for not wanting to be seen, oh how she wished she could borrow Harry Potter's cloak of invisibility. She kept her gaze on the floor when he didn't try getting out of the way.

Suga (sweeping her with his eyes): Do you swim in the bathtub?

Damn, she possessed some fine legs! He thought.

Alice noticed he was staring at her legs and it made her very uncomfortable. She tried walking past him but her legs won't budge. Suga sensed his stare was tensing the girl before him. He had seen her around but has never actually taken a good look at her. At least she was very quiet unlike that talkative little girl but how come he had never noticed her legs?

Alice finally got her legs to move and shyly fast walked in the direction of her room. He laughed at her movement and called out after her.

Suga: Yah! Nice legs!!

When she almost tripped on air after his compliment was out, he laughed to himself. She was adorable. Usually, women either drool over him or beaome very sassy but here she was running away.

This will be fun, he thought.

Kitty couldn't believe he had called her fat! That idiot. What was wrong with him? His voice kept reverberating in her mind.

You are heavy......A woman shouldn't weigh this much......

Dawn was sitting by the window writing something in a notebook. What is she writing? Kitty wondered.

Kitty (clearing her throat): Dawn?

Dawn (without looking up): Yea?

Kitty: Am I fat?

Dawn wanted to laugh because she thought Kitty was just being ridiculous but when she looked up and saw a serious look plastered on Kitty's face.

Dawn: Look sweetheart, even if you are fat, you should love yourself the way you are. There's only one of you in this world and it doesn't matter what society thinks, what matters is how you see yourself. This idea of perfection is driving people nuts, everyone wants to go in for plastic surgery to fix something. I mean why can't we embrace our flaws and live happily with them? Besides, you are not fat at all. People just have a way of making others feel like trash. Most times those people are either jealous of you or probably just become a jerk to get closer to you.

Kitty: Geez Dawn! I just needed a yes or no not a speech.

With that Kitty stood up and walked out of the room; she wasn't in the mood for lectures and the way Dawn had started, that short speech had the potential of turning into a lecture.
