Michelle's PoV.

"Remind me again what we're doing." Trey said as we drove down the highway.

I sighed.

Finding Trey was easy. Convincing him to drive was easy too. Explaining... Not so much.

"Trey," I said, "Ally's in danger and so is Theresa... I think."

"How?" He said furrowing his eyebrows and keeping his eyes on the road. "She just a got here!"

"Trey, just trust me alright?"

"I do trust you, it's those guys in full black I don't trust."

I looked towards the road and sure enough, 10 figures in black were blocking off the road.

"Trey lock the doors and turn around."

He complied, but when we turned around he had to jam his foot on the brakes. Another 10.

"What the hell..." Trey said.

Two men stepped out of the line. They approached either side of the car.
When they were at our windows, they pulled back their hoods.

"Mr. Rathbone?" I said shocked.

"Mr. Archer?" Trey said flabbergasted.

They tapped on our windows and motioned for us to roll them down.

I looked at Trey. "Don't."

He shrugged. "What could it hurt?"
He rolled both windows half way down.

I will kill you Trey Collins.

"Good morning Mr. Collins, Ms. Jones."

"It hasn't been a good morning." I said eyeing Mr. Rathbone.

He raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

Trey took the chance to answer, "our friend is missing."

"We know," Mr. Archer said speaking up. "We're trying to find her too."

"For completely different reasons!" I yelled at him.

"Well when you find your friend..." Mr. Archer began.

"You can give her this for us." Mr. Rathbone ended.

He handed over an envelop. It was white and sleek.

I looked at them in turns.

Mr. Archer didn't live in Kingswood, but Mr. Rathbone did.

My mother didn't like either of them, she didn't trust and I can see why.

Getting people to block off the road so they could give us a letter? Were they so confident that we'd find Ally? How did they even know? Were they spying on us?

"Well you two have a good day now," Mr. Archer said.

"Give Alecia the letter," Mr. Rathbone added and the both went back to their comrades.

"What now?" Trey asked.

"Turn back around. They want us to find her, so they'll move."

Sure enough, they moved out of our way.

"Trey step on it."

We sped down the road.

I examined the envelope...
It didn't look evil...

Trey cleared his throat.

"What?"

"Where exactly are we going?"

"Pull off here." I said.

"Are you kidding? It's nothing but woodland."

"Exactly."

"Michelle, unless you tell me what's going on here, I'm not stepping a foot out of this car."

I scoffed. "Fine, stay."

The door locked under my palm.

"Neither are you."

I pinched the bridge of my nose and took a deep breath.

What was I suppose to say?
Ally is a shapeshifter and Mr. Rathbone and Archer might be leading The Venatores?

"Ally's in danger. Isn't that enough?"

"No."

"It should be, Trey."

He sighed. "Why do I have the feeling someone's gonna get hurt?"

"Someone just might, if we don't find her in time."

He opened his door and stepped out.
"Well?" He asked looking at me. "Ally needs us."

I grinned and got out the car.

We turned towards the trees.

"This is so creepy." I stated.

"Yup," Trey said, "let's get going."

Trey doesn't know that I think Ally will be the one finding us, we just need to be in the woods.

Here goes nothing.

We marched off into the twining woods, with absolute no idea where we were going.
