Dark Streams (Slow Updates)

Chapter 3

Michael was the know it all of the group.Always pushing his luck and playing around getting into trouble. Especially with Isabella, but he always managed to get out of it by playing on everyone's emotions and giving them his famous puppy eyes. His hair was a dark brown and was spiked up at the front and through the middle. His eyes were a light blue with a tinge of green through them, that became darker when ever he was influencing anyone or when he was upset. His skin was flawless and held a soft tan to it. Michael was one of tallest, which was expected as he was one of the eldest of the 4. He also knew a lot more than the others and never let anyone forget it. 

The 4 strange teens continued in the direction Hayley had gone minutes before them, making sure to slip through the shadows so they wouldn't be seen. Even if Hayley was out of sight, all 4 knew where she was heading home, and they knew the route back to front. "I know," Joshua said suddenly, breaking the silence and looking in Joseph's direction. "I know... we need to be more careful guys. We've been doing this for so long we've become careless." Joshua voiced Joseph's thoughts. The group stopped to look at Joshua and take in what he said. "We've all been almost seen by Hayley or her friends, and they are in the most compromising situations. We can't let her see anything or us until we've talked to her and gotten through to her." Joseph finished and a silence fell over the group as they all silently agreed  and carried on.

Joseph was the same age as Isabella, they had known each other for years before joining the group many years ago. He was the one that everyone came to when they needed to talk and he was also the one who talked Michael out of pulling pranks on Isabella. Joseph had dark brown short hair that he would continuously brush his hand through each day. His eyes were a light electric blue and changed into a light grey when his mood changed. Joseph was the tallest of the group despite being one of the youngest and came up with most of their plans of attack or defense. He was the one that kept the peace in the group and even if the other's didn't say it, they were all grateful.

"I'm home!" Hayley called as she closed the front door to her apartment, slipped off her converse and threw her bag on the table. She walked down the hall and onto the kitchen as loud foot steps could be heard coming down the stairs and into the kitchen. "HAYLEY! OMG YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED TODAY!" Sarah yelled at excitedly. Hayley smiled a small smile at her and shook her head. Sarah was never like this, something big must've happened. "Let me get a cup of coffee first and then you can tell me everything." Hayley reasoned as Sarah nodded and fled the kitchen happily.
