Chapter 4

Sarah was a student at a local university. studying to be a doctor. Ever Friday night she would finish her last class at 5:30 then go to a small restaurant for dinner, the restaurant where Hayley happened to work. The two met and immediately got along, becoming friends instantly and moving in together alter on.

 Sarah's hair was light brown and fell in waves to just above her bust. Hey eyes were a light grey and had flecks of black through them. She was tiny too, very petite and short, but packed a punch if you managed to piss her off. She had light skin but it was fair and held almost no blemishes, almost perfect. Sarah also wasn't loud but she wasn't quiet either, so when she was jumping around excited, something had happened. Sarah was the one that looked out for Hayley, never letting her go alone to a party and making sure she was safe when she was out. They didn't need a repeat of last month. 

Hayley took a sip of her double chocolate mochaccino  and closed her eyes as the warm liquid dripped down her throat. She sighed happily and walked into the lounge where Sarah was sitting with a gin plastered on her face. Hayley at oppostie her on a large armchair and took another sip, "Alright what, or who is the reason for that stupid grin on your face?" Hayley asked smirking.

Sarah's eyes lit up and her grin widened. Standing up she began to tell Hayley all about her day. She told her about her classes, what she had fro lunch and how she almost got hit by a car walking home. "Sounds average." Hayley thought as she listened to her friend ramble on. "Then Lucus came over after he'd finished work! "Sarah almost screamed.

Hayley frowned, "Who's Lucus?" she asked. "He's new to my English class, he started this week and he's absolutely gorgeous and funny oh and he's American!" Sarah gushed. She herself was from America and moved to Paris when she got a scholarship to study in the beautiful city. Hayely knew she missed her home town and family and Sarah cherished every bit of home she could get. 'He's taking me out tomorrow night! I'm so excited!" Hayley shook her head chuckling as she watched her friend skip up the stairs to her room. Hayley was happy for Sarah but secretly hoped she wouldn't rush things. 

Hayley sighed and took another sip of her warms drink, closing her eyes and letting the warm liquid fill her body up. A loud bang from outside brought Hayley to flick her eyes open and look towards the window. Standing she slowly padded over to the window and pulled the cord gently opening the blind. Once the blind had opened revealing the whole window Hayley's mouth dropped open, her cup slipped from her fingers smashing to the floor and a blood curdling scream left her lips.
