"How you feeling Joshy?" Michael asked, concerned about the young boy. "Nervous." Joshua answered shaking. He'd made contact with Liam before, but that didn't mean it made it any easier. "Let's just get it over with." He instructed, thrusting his wrist at Michael.
Making contact with Liam was no easy feat, it required a sacrifice, a blood sacrifice from the one who wished to contact him. This blood would be used as ink for a pen made by Liam himself. The pen, once dipped into the blood would then be used to write in a little black leather bound book. Once the message had been written, the blood would be absorbed into the book, leaving once more, an empty page until a reply had been sent back in the same ink. But on a rare occasion, a door way would open into the book and pull whoever the owner was into it. This was Liam summoning you.
Michael held the steralised blade against Joshua's flushed skin. "Ready?" He asked. Joshua squeezed his eyes closed and nodded curtly. Michael applied pressure to the blade but before he could rip the blade across Joshua's flawless skin, the front door flew open.
A blast of cold air followed it, closing the black book and extinguishing the candles that lit the room. Michael retracted the blade from Joshua's wrist quickly and dropped it to the floor. "I should have known you would mess everything up." A deep voice sounded through out the small house. Michael's mouth dropped open and he fell to the floor. Joshua followed Michael's lead and dropped down next to him. Darkness continued to engulf the room, the only light coming from the full moon shining through the window.
A deep chuckling echoed around the room as a tall figure moved into the moonlight. A grin covered his face and mischief glimmered in his eyes. He looked down at the bowing boys and rolled his eyes, he hated this, he was still a normal boy under his title and the boys knew that. "Bloody hell! I thought I told you not to do that!!" He growled.
Joshua's head snapped up and his eyes landed on the tall man. Michael did the same, concern lacing his face. Suddenly Joshua lept from the floor, grinning widely and launched himself at the intruder. "Liam." He cried happily throwing his arms around Liam's neck. Liam laughed heartily, hugging the younger lad back. "Miss me much Joshy?" He teased and Joshua just nodded.
Michael stood, watching the two and cleared his throat. He was a lot more hesitant around Liam than Joshua, as Liam and Michael's relationship wasn't like Joshua and Liam's. Sure they were close mates but they weren't so close that they could hug it out. Michael cleared his throat again and sighed. "As touching as this is, we need to show you something and Joshua has some explaining to do." Joshua nodded and let go of Liam. As much as he had missed his adopted older brother, he needed him to fix Hayley as only Liam could. After all Liam was the King.
Liam had short, light brown hair that he constantly had swept forward and up. He had deep chocolate brown eyes that help the secrets of the world behind them, along with a toned tan body and flawless skin. The only blemish a birth mark on the right side of his neck. Liam was a very protective man and was the eldest of the group at 1000 years old which is why he was King over the others. He understood their world better than any other and had a loaded arsenal. Liam would always look out for other's and wanted the best for everyone, while having fun at the same time. But when the time came for Liam to attend to his kingly duties or protecting his mortal family he was a ruthless, sensible King, brother and father.
