My Little Brave

Prologue

It was a bright and sunny day in the land of Equestria, and in a meadow near the Everfree Forest, a little filly princess named Rainbow Dash was playing hide and seek with her mother named Rarity. It was Rainbow Dash's birthday, and they were having a little party. "Where are you? Come Out!" Rarity said playfully looking for her daughter. "Come out! Come on out! I'm coming to get you!" Rainbow Dash giggled quietly as she hid under the table. "Where are you, you little rascal?" Rarity asked playfully. "I'm coming to get you!" Rarity then looked under the table, but Rainbow Dash quickly moved to hide somewhere else. "Hmm. Where is my little birthday filly, hm?" Rarity said in a playful tone. "I'm going to gobble her up when I find her!" Rainbow Dash then came up to Rarity from behind, and she tried to run away, but Rarity caught her as she said "Got you!" Rarity pretended to eat Rainbow Dash and they laughed together. As they played together, Rarity's husband named Big Macintosh placed his large brown bow on the table. "Ach! Big Mac, no weapons on the table!" Rarity said in dismay as Rainbow Dash ran towards the table.

"Can I shoot an arrow?" Rainbow Dash said as she picked the bow up from the table. "Can I? Can I? Can I? Can I? Please, can I?" Rainbow Dash then fell, and laughed because the bow was too big for her. "Not with that. Why not use your very own?" Big Mac said as he presented his daughter a small blue bow. "Happy birthday, my darling daughter!" Rainbow Dash grinned, took her bow, and prepared to shoot her target much to Rarity's dismay. Rainbow Dash shot her arrow, but she missed the target. "Now listen." Big Mac said teaching his daughter how to shoot an arrow. "Draw all the way back to your cheek, keep both eyes open, and...boost." Following her father's advice, she did what he said, and shot her arrow. But she missed even further. "I missed it." Rainbow Dash said in a disappointed tone. "Well, go and fetch it, then." Rarity said. As Rainbow Dash ran into the Everfree Forest to get her arrow. Rarity turned to Big Macintosh, and said "A bow, Big Mac? She's a mare! A princess for that matter!" Big Mac just playfully pinched Rarity's back, and laughed.

Meanwhile in the Everfree Forest, Rainbow Dash looked for her missed arrow, and she found it on the ground near a big rock as she picked it up. As two crows crowed, Rainbow Dash suddenly felt lost until she saw a blob of blue lights. "A will-o-wisp." Rainbow Dash whispered as she tried to catch the wisp, but it disappeared. "They are real." She whispered as a line of wisps appeared, and she went after them excitedly as they led her out of the Everfree Forest, and back to her parents. "Rainbow Dash! Come along, sweetheart, we're leaving now." Rarity called out as Rainbow Dash went up to her parents, and said "I saw a wisp! I saw a wisp!" "A wisp?" Rarity asked as Rainbow Dash nodded. "You know, my little filly, they say that the will-o-wisp lead you to your fate." Big Mac just rolled his eyes in disbelief, and said "Ho ho, Eeyup, or an arrow. Oh come on, let's go, before we see a dancing charging bubu, or a giant-."

As Big Mac babbled on, Rarity looked at Rainbow Dash, and whispered "Your father doesn't believe in magic." "Well, he should, because that's true." Rainbow Dash said. She then screamed, and Rarity turned around in shock to see a giant demonic bear called Discord. "Discord!" Big Mac said in anger. "Rarity hide!" Rarity took Rainbow Dash, jumped into a carriage pulled by two royal guard ponies, and prepared to take off. One of the royal guards passed a spear to Big Mac as he said "Sire!" As the carriage started to take off, Rainbow Dash look at the fighting scene, and screamed. "Come on, you!" Big Mac yelled out. Discord then lunged forward, and their battle had begun.
