My Little Brave

Chapter 10

After Zecora's cottage disappeared, it started to rain as Rainbow Dash built a shelter for herself, and Rarity. After Rainbow Dash finished building it, she and Rarity went inside, and sat down. "We'll sort it out tomorrow." Rainbow Dash said. A few moments later, both Rarity and Rainbow Dash fell asleep. Rainbow Dash then had a dream about the time when she was a filly, and she would play with a dragon plushie. When thunder rumbled, she would yelp, and hide in tapestry that Rarity was working on back when she was a unicorn. When Rainbow Dash would crawl up to her mother, she would hold her, and comfort her as she would say "Brave little filly. Hey, sweet little pony. I'm here. I'll always be right here." The next morning, Rainbow Dash woke up, and saw that Rarity had set up a breakfast table out of a piece of wood. Rainbow Dash went up to her mother, and said "Uh, good morning." Rarity growled as if to say "Good morning, darling." "So, what's all this supposed to be?" Rainbow Dash asked. Rarity growled as if to say "It's breakfast time." "Oh." Rainbow Dash said as she sat down, and placed her bow on the table. Rarity growled at her daughter again, and Rainbow Dash said "What?" Rarity growled again, and Rainbow Dash said "Sorry, I don't speak bear."

Rarity then mimed that Rainbow Dash should remove her bow from the table. Rainbow Dash sighed as she said "Oh." She removed her bow from the table, and Rarity tried eatinh a berry with a wooden fork and knife, but she accidently flicked it at Rainbow Dash. So, she decided to use her sharpened bear claws to eat the berries on her wooden plate. "Find those by the creek, did you?" Rainbow Dash asked. "They're nightshade berries. They're poisonous." Rarity spitted the berries out in panic, and drank some water in a wooden bucket. "Where did you get this water?" Rainbow Dash asked. "It has worms." Rarity quickly spat out the water, and sat down in defeat as she knocked the wooden table over. Rainbow Dash smiled, and got up from the wooden table as she giggled, and said "Come on." She and her mother went over to the creek. Rainbow Dash then used her bow and arrow to catch a fish. "Breakfast!" Rainbow Dash said as she took out her arrow with a fish in it from the creek. Rarity clapped for her, and Rainbow Dash said "Oh, wait! A princess should not have weapons, in your opinion. Rarity nodded, but realized that Rainbow Dash used that against her.

Rainbow Dash then held the fish out for Rarity as she said "There you go. Go on." Suddenly, the fish flapped at Rarity as if its still alive, and she turned away in disgust. "How do you know you don't like it if you won't try it?" Rainbow Dash asked. Rarity growled as if she was saying that she would like the fish if it was cooked. Rainbow Dash then cooked the fish in an open fire she made. Once the fish was cooked, she placed it on a wooden plate. Rarity then ate it like a real bear, and growled as if to ask for two fish. Rainbow Dash then caught two fish, cooked them, and placed them on the wooden plate. Rarity ate them, and asked for four more fish. Rainbow Dash pointed at the creek as if she's telling her that she can teach her how to catch fish herself. Rarity then placed her crown on a rock, and she and Rainbow Dash went into the creek. Rarity had trouble catching the fish, but with her daughters help, she was able to catch fish on her own. And in all that time, both Rainbow Dash and Rarity had bonded together even better than they had before.
